Well. I havnt been here ina while and i thought id make light of old and new problems on the Palm Tungsten C.
First off. on everything that ya make like Quake for PalmOS, SNES emulator, and such. all have the same problem
when a key is pressed the Emulation slows down dramatically to a unplayable status. The keyset functions in the SNES now do not work at all on the palm tungsten C. Most games will not play. and it bugs the heck outta me

We're aware of the slowdown issue for months, a solution doesn't seem to be near. SNES key setting is buggy for everyone in 0.9, get the PRC from 0.9.1 ( tinnus.gp32z.com ) or 0.8 ( yoyofr.fr.st ) "Most games will not play." - Which system? Which games? Which settings? (specially CPU core and sound)

Am I the only person that is still running LJP .7 ?
I tried going to the various flavors of .9 (including .92T), but they all hang when a tap on the screen occurs during gameplay. Also games seemed somewhat slower than .7 as well (even GameBoy)
I couldn't get .8 to run fullscreen.....
Which left me at .7. It's not that bad, because the only games I really play are NES, since they are the only ones that really run full speed. Plus the games usually only require a couple of buttons.

Yep..the button/delay issue is known as a TC only issue. Doesn't seem to affect the Treo's. It's interesting that I've played some intensive graphical games (from Palmgear) on the TC and the slow down doesn't occur. Although I have seen the slow down on other emulators. Since I'm not a programmer, I have no idea what this implies...maybe it's just the Palm programs are not as CPU intensive as the EMU's. I'm still hoping for the miracle of a fix (or discovery) on the cause of this issue

Actually the slowdown is not that bad if you use LJP 0.8+Lightspeed, most snes games work fine.
Some of the ones I have tested are:
Aero the Acro-Bat (U) [!] Bust-A-Move (U) Donkey Kong Country 3 - Dixie Kong's Double Trouble (U) [!] Illusion of Gaia (U) [!] Legend of Zelda, The - A Link to the Past (U) [!] Lufia & The Fortress of Doom (U) [!] Lufia II - Rise of the Sinistrals (U) Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World Super Tetris 3 (J) [f1] Terranigma (E) [!] Zombies Ate My Neighbors (U) [!]
Chrono Trigger (U) [!] is slow but is playable ;D

--------------------------------------------------------------- Tinnus: just as a suggestion for people who has problems with 0.9.2T and is not fully satisfied with 0.8 why don't you change the internal name of LJP 0.9.2 so we can have both of them installed... ---------------------------------------------------------------

Change the creator ID? Easy, but I don't really know if it's worth it... I'd do it if I had a lot of free time which unfortunately is hard this week
