It sounded like the new version would have been ready some time last week. I know Yoyo is busy working on the PSP stuff, but is there any indication at the moment on how long it will take.
I am happy to offer my help beta testing if it is required.
I don't want you to think I'm complaining. Whenever the next version is ready is fine by me. I appreciate the amount of work that Yoyo and Tinnus (and others) are putting into all these great programs.

Even if we dont have a new version.. what about a new pack??? some users (like me) dont have/know the most stable .zem files.
I can Host a pack with the most recomended versions of files. like .8 for genesis.zen .9 for JLP and so...

I'm trying to get in contact with him; all indicates that he's on vacation... Maybe if he doesn't show up in a week I'll release 0.95 or something to cover the hole.

Hmm, would this possible 0.95 include new modules?
It would be nice if at least a moderate speed improvement was there for the SNES module, as the games I try on my Tungsten E (overclocked to 192 Mhz with Lightspeed and with 30 MB of free RAM with UDMH) are definitely close to full speed, but definitely don't run at 100% framerate yet, even with the Skeezix frameskip option (which is BY FAR the best frameskip option). I'm using the 0.8 SNES module, as all the 0.9x versions are too unstable (in fact, the 0.9.2T hard reset my palm when reentering the 1.0 RC1 launcher from Tinnus' website!) for me to risk losing my schedule. Can't get things done without the handy schedule feature, y'know? Not to mention not all of us are always near a computer with a backup of their stuff on it.

Well, you can backup to card with some programs, really handy for those hard reset situations Anyway, yes, any new version will include at least WS and NGP modules (and SMS/GG too, of course). Atari and TG16 are on the works... Improving SNES speed is a little difficult considering it's already very, very optimised but I'm not an expert on optimization so who knows

Let him take his time, my T|C is being repaired because I burned it with a custom travel charger I built (never trust an LM7805) and I had to lend money to my sister so I wont be getting my Lifedrive anytime soon

How did you fry your C, and what would you suggest instead of the 7805?

Thanks Tinnus.
I look forward to the new version, whichever one hits us first.

The LM7805 are a little unstable and its voltage tends to vary for different circumstances. Now I'm working on a circuit using the MC34063A, I'll let you know when I finish it
