All my tests are based upon snes modules on my T5 (i prefer to test one module well rather doing nothing good with all the others modules) sysinfo : volume internal[2] used 29M/161M ram ram 60000k/16383k rom [checksum ok] <=(chrono trigger) type [0021]HiRIM, 32Mbits/ sram 8kb tv ntsc Amazing music, only lack an option to "shut it up" - each rom appear 2 times in the launcher, one time "red", one time "blue" ? - changing the smoothing ingame in the osd makes the T5 crash - the launcher have error messages if files are not in "internal sd card", it no longer search in the regular sd card - changing screensize (1 -> 1.25) in osd bring messages : cannot allocate memory - changing screensize to wide give a black screen - some freeze in secret of mana, with settings : * no smoothing * frameskip auto or skeezix * no sound the frame counter goes to 99 then the game freeze totally. But all these "torture", the emu seem pretty stable i played 4 consecutive snes games (secret of mana, zelda, street fighter *blehhh* and chrono trigger) without any problem when i dont torture your software.

Is it normal that if I reset my device all my LJP settings are lost?
Edit: just tried the sms, works very very very well!!!

Wow!
Its faster that the last LJP!.
A question. I saw on the readme SPC playback for snes? How can i playback the music games for snes? At the first time, i got the same "Mem Manager" error, but i just disable UDMH and enabled it again with a soft reset each one, and now works, but sometimes the error is still there, and i dunno how does the new snes option in GFX work.
and, well, i will keep testing guys... Great Job!
You are rocking the entire world emulation, not just palm emulation.!!! cyaaaa
Specs. Palm Zire 71, UDMH, 256MB SD... maybe i´ll ad a Geforce 7800GTX to it later =)

It doesn't work on my Clie NX60. Every time I launch a rom the device crashes. I tried disabling sound and the intro fx and with different settings with different emulators and still no luck =(
The message is "MemoryMgr.c, Line 3564, NULL handle". Are there any Clie users who were able to run LJP successfully?

Well, bummer, I can't seem to open any ROMS on my treo 650 either. No matter which emulator I'm in, when I try to open a rom I get two consecutive dialog boxes that read: 0136 013D Then it won't open.
Also, it crashed and reset a lot during installation, but I eventually got past that somehow.

Hi, I've been lurking here awhile, but finally registered to post my experiences on RC1. (Using the PSI version)
All using my Tapwave Zodiac 1:
Nes - Can't load any games.
Fatal Exception:10 2000003F20051DF1 200513122C763D84
GB - Can't load any games.
Fatal Alert MemoryMgr.c, Line:3655, Null handle
SNES - Works fantastic for me. BIG jump in FPS with the Hacks enabled for FF6. Even with Sound I'm usually in the 40's, though I typically play without sound.
All ROMs seem to work fine for me. Still no sound on Megaman X for me though, as was with v0.8. Maybe it's my ROM? Also, the occasional game seems to have just Black backgrounds. Yoshi's Island, some of Super Mario All Stars,..)
GG - None of my ROMs seem to run at all. I just get a black screen with the Beltbar. I can still access the Tap menu and use the Beltbar, but no sound or visuals.
GENS - Freezes when I select it from the drop down menu. No error message, the whole system just locks up. (This also randomly, but not always happens with GB too.)
Most of the Systems I don't have ROMs for crash right after the "No ROMs" message. SMS doesn't crash though I have zero ROMs for it.
Fatal Exception: 10 8000001F2015183D 20171BBC24AE9A28
That's the error message I get when it happens for NGP.
Fatal Exception: 0C 4000001F2009F558 B0F69B3424AE9A28
That's the one for VCS.
I also get a Fatal Exception when exiting LJP (tapping the Home icon in the corner) and another randomly (it's more often that I don't get one) when entering LJP.
That's all I've had time to fool around with so far. When I get my Card Reader back from my friend I'll play around with NGP and other things. Thanks for the wonderful software, I use it 95% of the time for SNES anyway, so a lot of the bugs don't bother me much.

Another note, when I download the 'binary' version of RC1 (not the installer) and try to unzip it using WinRAR, i get the following error during decompression:
! C:\Temp\ljp-1.0rc1.zip: CRC failed in ljp-1.0rc1\goodgbx.zip. The file is corrupt
So maybe a corrupt file is causing some of the problems?? I don't really know what I'm talking about, but just passing that along in case it helps...

I'm having some major issues with it on my Zodiac 1. I have yet to run any ROMs successfully (although I only have GBC and SNES ROMs).
SNES will give me an error saying that it can't find the ROM, but I haven't moved them from where they were when I was using .9.2. I've tried messing with every setting I can find, but no luck.
GBC will give a fatal error when I try to launch a ROM. It will then continue to give a fatal error every time I launch LJP until I remove the SD card.

I'm getting the go0dgbx.zip error when unzipping the binaries, otherwise everything looks good. Runs well on my Zire 72. I'm very glad to have sound in game gear, and have yet to try Atari VCS, but will get into that tomorrow. The beltbar looks good, but the disc icon and folder-back icon don't seem to do anything (maybe I'm doing something wrong).
Nice job!!!

It can only run well in warm-reset mode at Asia TT5 and LifeDrive device.
By the way, the asia version Palm is not the same as universal version.
I have get more than 20 times reset today when i using LJP in asia version LifeDrive.

Yeah there seems to be alot of problems with certain devices. It doesn't work at all on my T/5 and I have tried just about everything including a hard reset. The only thing I haven't tried in the psi installer. But Tinnus said that It was working fine for him and yoyofr so it must be certain devices that are having a problem with it. Thats the problem yoyofr and Tinnus don't have a T/5, LD or anything like that so it cant be tested. Well anyways I hope it can be fixed or someone can tell us how to get it to work properly.

Yeah, still no luck on treo 650, even after hard resets etc. Just out of curiosity, what PALM devices do yoyofr and tinnus have? Tried .8 and that still works great though. BTW, I was using 9.2T, but its not on the download screen any longer?

Tested out 1.0 RC on Tungsten T5. Smoothing for SNES - improvement is obvious but the belt bar is not displayed? Higher stablility in terms of OSD. I dun seems to hang/crash even after 2 savestates. That is a good thing but i still want to see the belt bar!!! heehee ;D Juz a thought .... Tinnus/Yoyo any chance the wide(hi+) mode will work for T5?? Thanks!! I tested.... it doesn't and crash after i open OSD for more than 2 times in wide mode

ZeroXevo could you tell me what settings you used or how and were you installed it on your T/5 mine wont work at all.

Use the psi installer. I think it works best
Setting Smoothing - Slow Size 1.25(hi+) Skip - Auto Renderer - Exact Sound On 44k Core ASM
My platform Tungsten T5 Twinmos 1GB SD UltraX UDMH setting as auto allocate Warpspeed setting - 585Mhz for both UDMH and LJP Crashpro 2.19 (for logging errors leading to crash)

I just made some tests on my T5, without "torturing" the emulator in a "normal use" :
- Nes (parodius, marble madness, prince of persia) : no problem.
- Snes : already did a review.
- gameboy (final fantasy legend I & II, legend of the river king) : no problem on these games.
- GenZ (garfield, addams family, indiana jones) : run well and fast !
- NGP (e-cup, king of fighters, puzzle bobble mini) : no playable game, everything crash after a few seconds. But ljp still running and i was able to "exit emulator" each time)
- wondersan (pocket fighter, puzzle bobble) : games works but not really playable, ljp says 62 frames second but lots of artifacts on screen and blinking sprites. the games are pretty slow.
- sms (wonderboy 3, wonderboy 1, wonderboy in monster land) : run pretty fast, nice and stable no notable crash.
- Gamegear (double dragon, sonic the hedgehog, virtua fighter) : run pretty fast, nice and stable no notable crash.
One of the impressive thing is i almost not reseted (3 times) while testing games and even changing emulator...
