I am unable to get either emulator working on my tungsten e2. For the purpose of finding out what is wrong, I will start with the snes module. I am trying to find out why this is not working. To start, I went through back versions to find if it ever worked, here is the version summary:
0.7: Requires UDMH, but works just great 0.8: Without UDMH crashes instantly (Out of memory...), with UDMH, it sort of starts, but it just displays some weird flashing green lines 0.9: Same as 0.8 1.0-rc1: Crashes instantly with memorymgr error regardless of udmh or not
I am really wanting to see this working.

My friend i think all you have to do is a hard reset I just installed the real LJP1.0 rc1. The emulation is better than before. Im running Genesis and Snes OK im my TE|2. Do this: a) Do a backup with Palm Desktop b) Do a hard reset c) Create a new user in Palm desktop d) Install LJP, UDMH and WARPspeed in your SD card. Its important you install ALL in your SD. Every kbyte in Palm is need here. Be sure to sincronyze with your new Palm desktop user. I used the LJP based modules version. I suggest you to follow the instructions in readme file to make the instalation. e) Now, soft reset your palm, start warp speed, set the speed to 266mhz. f) Now start UDMH and enable it. (should have about 29800kbytes now for Heap memory) g) Time to start LJP. Be sure your roms files are stored in the correct place. Test the rom files before in your pc. Sometimes they are buggy (corrupted from the internet) so dont blame LJP everytime you got a chrash. h) GENESIS setup: Use audio, 22khz, Fast, Frame skip 4, smoothing off, display size 1, CPU core ASM. Dont change the rest. I tested Sonic1, PS3, PS2, PSIV. Running fine! i) SNES setup: Smoothin off, display size 2, frame skip 3, check: ign. fixed color, ign. clip windows, ign. palette. Do not check ign. add/sub changes, the game graphics is bad without it. Use cpu core ASM. Tested with Super Mario World, Final Fantasy 2 and Zelda 3. (snes doesnt needs warpseed on here to stay working at nice speeds. looks like lighter than Genesis. Its time to optimize Genesis!) I hope this helps you. Im so excited with all this, im thinking in buyng UDMH and Warpspeed to prevent to do hard resets weekly. I think now that a little more SNES optimization and Genesis optimization and better memory management is all that LJP needs to be a perfect software (now its just... outstanding!) Rcamurca.

I tried precisely as you said, and I still get MemoryMgr.c, Line:3732, NULL handle. I am certain it is an issue with code, and not with the way my handheld is setup, since snes works just fine if I use LJP 0.7.
Edit: Holy cow batman!! It turns out that it only crashes if I have sound disabled, I enabled sound and it works!
