RC1 and Zire 72s

My results are as follow:

to be honest, everything runs quite good, nice work tinnus and yoyo!

my settings are:

zire 72 s
20 megs of free memory
udmh not regged (20 heap mem)
-in game settings:
a) audio at 44 hz volume at 200% (in all my settings)
b) screen at 1.25, with NO scaling method (nor fast, nor medium, nor anything)
c) Frameskip set at 0 (you are reading ok, ZERO, hehe)
d) Buttons (input) with my config.

and the best thing is: im getting between 50-60 fps in everything!

NES: runs superb!

SNES: super mario world runs superb as well, only super tennis and mario kart (mode 7 games as you can see) tend to run slower, i havent try to tweak the configurations to make some test but i dont want to lose my actual config (it would be nice to have separated config's for some games, ie. mode 7 games)

GENS: not tested

SMS: runs superb!, tried deep duck trouble and Columns

ATARI: OMG!, it runs great! except it runs too fast, hehe, and some games (like my favorite, FROSTBITE) doesnt run at all!, but hey, it runs by far much better than a previous VCS emulator i tried. by the way, is there a plan to map the other keys of the VCS?? some games dont run if you dont reset the game (ie. pressure cooker, among others) and some games require the difficult selector.

i havent tried the rest cause i only have a lousy 64 megs mmc card,

Im NOT using any overclocking program!, only the nice and fast processor of my zire 72...

im gonna try later the emulator with my old zire 71...

You know you can zip roms too and save space...

I haven't finished testing everything yet either but I thought I would give my results so far.

SNES: Runs really well. I can actually play Chrono Trigger now (in previous versions it would crash when I tried to save.) I'll have to try some other large roms to see if they work as well. With the games I've tested I've been able to change the Smoothing to Fast and the Display Size to x1.25 without much difference (if any) in speed. The settings I haven't changed are Frame Skip Auo, Renderer Exact, and no check for Fast Sprites or Transparency.

VCS: works good if I turn the framerate to 0 (it's too fast on auto or Skeezix) I can't play my favorite game though (Snoopy and the Red Baron) because I need the start button to start it (there are a few games like that but that's the one I'm most concerned about.) Also it would be nice to emulate the switch so you can choose the difficulty for some of the games.

GB, GENS, GG, Nes all seem to be working fine. I still need to do some testing though.

excuse me jeremy, a few questions:

is warpspeed free?

how much did you overclock your zire 72s (mhz)??

how's the battery life with the overcloking?

warpSpeed is not free. You can get it from here palmpowerups.com/ for $10.95. Its great if your screen has that buzzing sound because it can get rid of it. I actually haven't overclocked my palm. I've thought about doing it but I just haven't taken the time.
