Here's what I've discovered so far.
I was playing Shining Force Final Conflict in the GG module (the fully fan translated version runs great) using LJP 1.0 RC2 on my Tungsten E but some problems have come to my attention.
1. There seems to be no SRAM support (at least for Game Gear, haven't tried the SMS part in this version). Looked on my card with FileZ and did see .srm files, but the emulator doesn't seem to write to or read from those files.
2. Save states work, but they don't show up while you're in the launcher. You have to launch the game, then tap the screen and load your state.
3. The more you play (and load/save state) during a session, the more memory it will eat up. I've seen my free memory (with UDMH) drop from 30 MB to 23 MB.
4. Although leaving LJP and reentering it will free up this memory, there's a very high chance that when you load state after launching and play for a while, the emulator will freeze or the palm will crash with either a fatal exception or a memory manager ptr error whenever you tap the screen to bring up the menu.
Other stuff:
The beltbar/fps seems to make things less stable.
I have only noticed fatal exceptions when I have WarpSpeed activated. If I deactivate WarpSpeed and don't reset, there's still a good chance of a fatal exception when running LJP. Also noticed that it seemed to still be speeding things up in this situation (deactivating without reset) even though I had unchecked the enable box.
When playing Faselei! (NGP), in the intro the .mp3ish song sounds like chipmunks on helium. Sound is at 44khz, mode Fast. Also, in the first level when I destroyed a chopper that was still hovering over a forest spot my mecha couldn't travel to, instead of the prize dropping to the nearest free location, the emulator crashed.
When playing Evolution: Eternal Dungeons (NGP), part of the walking sprite when in a dungeon is displayed at the top left corner, and the rest is in the center (where the other part should also be.) Same settings as above.
When playing Biomotor Unitron (NGP), when you get money from the shop right after you start the game, instead of the pittance (200?) you're supposed to get, you get 9,999,999 cash at least. I say at least because it's actually a hex figure...going on a shopping spree showed some A's and such as my money supply dropped.
