I don't know if it's possible without an sdcard, because apart from the roms you also need the .zdk files (emulators themself) on the card. But you can try some software that emulates an sdcard, find it on palmgear.com and then you need to search this forum for the mp3-trick to put all the needed files on the emulated sdcard! Once again, I don't know if this all really works!
Good Luck!

It's not possible (currently) unless you do what snempaa said (virtual card).

I just hardreset my palm, to give it a try! I downloaded Softick Ramdrive from Palmgear, along with the filemanager Filez, and put UDMH on the machine, I also installed ReceiveIt, to receive files with all extentions on the palm. I'm beaming the installer right now! The installation worked and LJP started! Now for the rombeaming! I set up Receivit to receive zip files into the /palm/programs/ljp/gb/roms directory... let's give it a try! File received ok and I could play mario1 on my T|E without a mem. card! But I still recommend using Lightspeed
Good Luck!
ps. Filez is not necessary, because receivit can receive files in any directory pps. If you don't have an infrared adapter on you pc or laptop, you can't use ReceiveIt to get the roms on you palm powered handheld but you need to use the mp3trick.

FWIW, SD cards are pretty cheap on places like newegg.
