Hello, I just discovered Little John Palm ant it is a great program! I run it on a Treo 600 and I tryed Bubble Bobble for NES, as well as for GameBoy and a couple other games I had with GBulator, and all run very well at very good speed (also the scaled down NES version).
I also tryed Metal Slug for NeoGeo Pocket and altough it doesn't have to scale down, since its resolution fits in the treo display, it is very slow...
Is Treo600 too slow to emulate it full speed, or maybe the code is not as optimized as the nes code?
Is there a hope for better optimization?
I ask here because there are some games for the NGP that are very nice and they fit to treo screen without scaling, so they look just fine.
Very good work on this multi-emulator btw. Frankk

Yeah, the NGP is a little slower to emulate than for example GG or GBC, although some optimizations could be made, I'm not sure if it would be fast enough on a Treo 600.

Yeah, the NGP is a little slower to emulate than for example GG or GBC I just tryed with Sonic for GG and it is impressive, it seems to run a native palm game, perfect speed and gg resolution is almost identical to treo 600 resolution!! I can live without NGP, Metal Slug was really the only game that i wanted to run with it; it runs a bit faster disabling sound, not yet fast enough to be fully playable, but nice. Frankk
