For some reason, LJP doesn't work for my Zire 31 PDA. I did a clean install of it, configured it for that UMDH or w/e program, but when I run it, the game immediately exits out the the LJP browser screen. I think I'm too sexy for LJP.

Okay I think it was the rom--Contra(NES) works fine and Metal Slug: First Mission(NGP) runs fairly well. But...
Is there any way to change the default resolution of a game before loading it? Is there any free alternative to UDMH/does my Zire 31 need it??

The only way you can change the resolution is in graphical options, when you choose 1x, 1.25x and so on. But, this works especially for 320x320 and more screen. The Z31 have a low resolution screen with 160x160 pixels. So i guess there is no way for you to change the resolution.
On a lifedrive and a T5 you can run some small nes game without udmh. T3, which is the palm heap memory powerhouse, you can run most of snes without udmh. So dont expect to get ride of this program on the Z31's tiny memory...

Why do you want to change the resolution? Do you want it to be even smaller or what? (it is already downscaled to fit in the Zire's screen)

my Zire 72s can already load any NES game without being overclocked or anything.
