I've run a search in the forum, but can't seem to find the answer. Any reason I get a message every three or four times I load the program that says Wrong .dni, reverting to default?
I don't mind it, I just need to be sure I'm running everything properly.
I'm running a LifeDrive.
Thanks in advance.

.dni? I don't have a freaking clue about what this is, sorry. But when I start to get weird errors I usually just hard reset ;D
Also are you running the latest firmware on your LD?
edit: this is not an internal LJP error BTW. Either the OS or something else running on BG. I suggest you run LJP after a warm reset (cleans BG programs) and see if the problem persists.

Reset while holding the up button. you can let go of the up button when the palm logo screen appears.

He meant the .ini file kept reverting back to default, which is exactly what mine does everytime I open LJP. In order to bypass this I can only use LJP once per reset, which means that If I use LJP i have to reset before opening back again. If I close LJP, then reopen it before resetting then it reverts my ini file back to default. I'm using a LD with the update 2 and this even happens after a hard reset.

Open the /PALM/Programs/LJP/ folder and remove the ljp.ini file. You're supposed to remove it when installing a new version...

Open the /PALM/Programs/LJP/ folder and remove the ljp.ini file. You're supposed to remove it when installing a new version... When it comes to LJP, that's common sense. *fresh install = still happens *warm reset, delete ini = still happens *hard reset = still happens *hard reset, delete ini, import ini from another person's working LJP = same thing I have no clue why it does this. So weird. Like I said if I just use LJP once and reset, I never get the error. But if I open LJP, close it, and open it back up it reverts my ini to defaults (wrong version it says). Might be a LD issue but my friend who gave me his working ini also has a LD and it works perfectly on his device. I also have no DAs running that could effect LJP, none running ever at all actually.

Also normal on my LD.
Never mind anyway, I'm not taking any launcher bugs since I'm scrapping the current launcher code.

I had similar problems with low DB Cache; it might be a memory issue.

yeah, I'd like to add my 2cents to this one. I also have a lifedrive and ALWAYS get that ini reverting back to default message. I do everything properly..delete ini first...install fresh..ext...umdh...uncache...the actual games play perfect..it's just ini problem. Even on a hard reset and ljp being the only thing installed on the unit. Anyone have any ideas...or suggestions...and tinnus...and yoyo...your guys are my hero..hero's...plurral

The word you are looking for is 'heroes' Hero's denotes the reference object (guys) belongs to hero. Actually, 's ALMOST always means this when applied to a noun. Except for in the case of "it's" where it means "it is" and the other meaning is referred to via "its." I have a feeling that soon people will be writing things like your's, think's and ha's.... When 's is appended to a non-noun, it means that instead of writing "is" after the word, the writer concatenated the two words into one. This is the standard way an apostrophe is used This note is brought to you not as a nitpick, but as education for those who might never have learned these aspects of the English language. Enjoy!

Just the kind of thing online forums need.
