i think that you should start charging 5 or 10 bucks for LJP. Although i don't like to pay for stuff, it will give you some extra money and thus time for you to work on LJP and make it better. you could actually get a team together and thus produce newer, better versions (don't get me wrong, i am certainly not complaining about LJP as it is now) of LJP. Also, i know that this is mainly for retrogaming but if it is possible and beneficial, i think you should emulate whatever you can, even if that means GBA or anything else that's not retro. ok, i know i am asking for way too much. thanks for the great program that you have provided us of now and if you never come out with a new version this will be the best program ever produced for the palm os.

Here's the catch. Most of LJP is GPL. Which means that I actually CAN sell it but I must make the sources available. Which means anyone could compile it and get it for free. But then you say: some people would buy it anyway because they want to support the development. In that case, a donation works With the addition that you can donate however much you want. edit: about the "most of LJP is GPL" thing. LJP is completely modular, and the launcher is built separately form the modules. That means each module can have its own license. That also means I (or anyone) can develop a module for it and keep the sources closed, even sell it if he/she likes. However, currently all of the modules (and the launcher) are GPL. This might (and probably will) make a difference in the future though, since it's possible that we have closed-source modules due to porting of closed-source stuff (with permission, and private source, from the original author of course).
