Hi..
Ive searched this forum and cant really come up with any helpfull answer for this error.

I am getting when trying to load NES:
patternTOpix not allocated, crash

I am also getting a bunch of 'DIE' messages
without any other info when trying to load GB games..

This is after a fresh install..

Any ideas?


As a side note, Im now using a 4GB card with the FAT32
driver.. I noticed this post:

With the driver installed 50% of my games dont load/run.

Just gone back to FAT (original driver) and all works again.

A reformat doesnt seem to be the fix and all other programs
are working properly with the Card. Perhaps LJP has some
issues with this somewhere?


Additional Info:

It seems after the phone resets it will allow me to load
1 game (this is for GB).. any other game loaded after that
results in a crash/reset. All my files are .zipped


More additional information:

Neither NesEM and Gbulator crash at all playing the same
roms off the same card. Im really starting to think there
might be a problem somewhere with LJP -> FAT32.PRC ->
4GB Cards say it aint so!

Sounds like you're using a Treo 650... I'd suggest cleaning out your DB Cache and seeing if your problems go away.
Step 1: disable any app that does system-wide things (and can be turned off)
step 2: soft reset
step 3: run LJP and try a game.

If this doesn't work, download UnCache from palmpowerups.com, install it, restart, and THEN try LJP. If it still exhibits the same behaviour, it's not your DB Cache

Um... i think you know UDMH already. "patternTOpix not allocated" is most likely a memory error.UDMH + defragmentation should fix it.

Also, the obvious things to try and find out if the problem is the FAT32 driver, are 1) trying a <2GB card and 2)trying a small card with the FAT16 driver back
