Hello, I'm running the T|T LJP nes emulator, and cannot get my launches to work at all. Here are the steps I take
1. INstall LJP.prc to the handheld rom. 2. Run ljp once to register the .zem 3. Install the stuff & nes zem files & roms on the SD card. 4. Run LJP and choose an nes game.
As soon as I launch any game, it resets the handheld every time.
I also have a treo 650 and followed the same steps, and it worked fine no problem.
I installed UDMH to see if that made any difference, but none that I can see, with the 65000 setting on the program. I currently have 12 megs free on the handheld and 35 free on the sd card.
Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this? I know the little guy is pretty old, but it is palm 5, 320x320, and meets the base requirements. I want to gift the handheld to a friend of mine as I no longer need it, and the emulator would be a superb use of this old pda.
Thanks for your help~

Well, I tried UDMH again, nothing new.
I also installed warpspeed, and bumped the speed up a little bit at a time. THe base speed is 144 mhz, and going beyond 192 makes it crash.
So, even after enabling both programs and reinstalling the .zems after each crash, I'm still getting an instant reset as soon as I select a game and click launch.
Also to confirm, I have done a hard reset and only installed LJP, UDMH, and Warpspeed - nothing else on the rom besides the defaults.

what version of LJP are you using? I haven't tried LJP on devices prior to my T3 (I own before a T|T also). Remember that LJP is in beta phase so you can expect problems... try to bring as much as you can about info that relates to LJP version, resident programs running, UDMH version, etc...

The following things might be at issue: ljp.ini, savedpreferences DB.
To fix: perform a warm reset, delete the ljp.ini file, and start LJP. Press reset, and boot normally. See if the problem goes away.

Hi there-- I recently picked up a cheap Tungsten T and am facing the same issue with v.1.0 RC2. Basically, the T|T resets when launching a rom in any module. I'm using UDMH (set to 6 MB of dynamic memory). Without using UDMH, LJP resets before getting to the launcher. I know that older versions worked fine on the T|T with UDMH (this is similar to issues I've faced on Clie's). Does anyone happen to know the last stable version that worked on the T--and where I can download it?

You can go to the official website, and download something like 0.8... 0.9 is buggy.

Hi!
I have a T|T and the RC3 is working quite fine. I only have UDMH installed (5.3) with 13000k setted up, flag on Clean up for this app, flag on skip quit
In LJP, menu Other, I have: Launcher, no flags (otherwise, reset) GUI, no flags Misc, no flags (otherwise, reset)
Everytime that I access the OSD in the game, when I want to go back to the game, the T|T crashes, and the same happens when I save the game. The game is saved, but after the T|T crashes. I'm testing the SNES, GB and NES modules. They work smoothly the only problem is the OSD.
Bye!
