When running a ROM, it doesn't seem to work as well on computer/supernintendo. Should I expect this because it is on a Palm device, or is there something wrong? Also, on some roms, the background is black (take Super Mario All-Stars for example)...Is this the ROM or a problem that can be fixed on LJP? A couple more questions on configs...: Should Fast sprites be checked? as well as Transparency? Should Render be 'Fast' or 'Exact'? Should Freq. be '44Khz', '22Khz', or '11Khz'? And finally, should the CPU Core be ASM or C? Sorry so many questions on this post...And thank you Tinnus for answering my question :-) Should I purchase Card Export II or Card Reader 1.0? ~andddlay~

Both of them do what you want. IIRC, Card Reader enables you to use other apps while you run it, but that's a minor IMO. If by "as well" you mean "it's slow" you need to fiddle with the settings/overclock/whatever. The black background in Super Mario World happens if you play the game with transparencies ON and renderer FAST... it's weird but you need to turn transparency OFF in some games for it to work right About the other stuff, you should probably use the search function or some good sense. Now just to give you a tip--you say "should ... be ... or ...?" all the time. Let me tell you something: if the settings are there, it means you should be able to change them and experiment Don't be afraid of trying stuff yourself instead of asking people; you really learn a lot better by trying yourlsef (good lesson for your life ) Fast sprites - makes sense right away doesn't it? It uses a faster methods to draw the sprites But sometimes this causes small glitches (like some stuff above others when they shouldn't) but that's bearable IMO. Freq: Sound frequancy: higher is slower and sounds great; lower is faster and sounds crap I found 22 to be the best of both worlds, although 11 makes a GOOD deal of diffecence speed-wise (sounds terrible most of the time though). CPU core: The nomenclature for this should probably be changed sometime since the average user can't see the difference between "C" and "ASM" Basically ASM is faster but a little more unstable than C--meaning some (very little) games (like Super Mario RPG) only run with the C core. Note also that some games need sound on SIM or ON to have sound... SIM is just like ON with volume 0
