Sluggish Lifedrive

It seems to me that LifeDrive is a bit slow while emulating SNES. I have tried first with LJP 0.8 and UDMH 5.2 and SNES with fast smoothing of 1.25x and sound (22kHz) and auto frame skip a lot choppy. With screen 1x the game was running good but not great. RC3,UDMH 5.3 and DbCacheTool with same setting gave some more speed in 1x mode which is quite good but still 1.25x is slow. I tried a small overclocking (+50MHz) with free LD tool for overclocking but it didn't speed up much. What are your suggestions, software or settings to speed up? What is max overclocking speed for LD processor?

Use 1.25 with no smoothing and DON'T USE AUTO FRAMESKIPPING! Try manually 0, 1 or 2.

Most... uh... almost all games run fullspeed in 1.25 no smoothing and sound on the LD. ALso use the common tricks to speed up the emulation (which I won't say again, just search the last... 5 or 6 posts in the forum )
