Ok after a week or so of use i would like to report on the emulator running on my TJ35...
8Mb Heap memory, MSPro 256, 200Mhz ARM Processor
General Emulation:
When i go to the internal menu while playing, and try to change ANYTHING (like turning off sound), i cannot ever return to the game, i just get a black screen with the menu drawn on it, if i activate the menu again i can see the old same menu behind, i can leave via LAUNCHER button at any time.
Trying to save or load does the same thing, probably related to the above problem. Saving seems to work tho.
GB Emulation
-----------------
The sound is great, the graphics are great, and i cannot note any slowdown while playing (smoothing off)
I have tried several games:
Harry Potter (hangs after extended playing)
Pokémon (hangs after extended playing)
Mario Land (all, included Wario Land)
Zelda
Street Fighter ZERO
Alone in the Dark
Harvest Moon 2
Donkey Kong Country
Tetris DX
I found some troubles after extended gameplay on SOME games, after 15 or so minutes of playing Pokemon Crystal, the emulator hanged up (soft reset required)
It happened with some other games, not so with Tetris DX for example, i can play that thing for hours with no hangs.
NES Emulation
-------------------
The sound works perfectly but you can note a slowdown when pressing a key. The speed is a little below normal (NESEm plays faster). I havent got any hangup yet (it hanged once, have to recheck my games to see if it happens again)
Again i tryed several games
Adventure Island 1y2
Circus Charlie (hanged after playing tor like 2 minutes and three lifes! )
Super Mario Bros 2 y 3
Tetris War
Ultima V
Zelda
Wario's Wood
SNES Emulation
--------------------
Its quite slower than their counterparts, but turning sound off and setting frameskip to 2 makes it work at 100% speed.
I tryed less games this time
Super Mario All-Stars & Mario World
Super Mario World 2 (extra slower)
Zelda
None hanged up yet
YOYO:
Amazing work, most emulation is flawless, i never tought i would be seeing this compatibility SO SOON!
If you need me to run any test please just tell me, im eager to help as much as i can (specially on NES and GB, those are my favourite systems!)
