For LJR, I think it'd be great to be able to make the in-game menu button configurable too -- I'd love to be able to set it to my power button so I could turn the device off with two presses of the button

It wouldn't be illegal; however, it *might* require licensing a few patents. It would also leave you with around 0.5fps and no memory to run games in on the latest Palm devices. N64 would be MUCH easier to emulate.

_Em - great suggestion on button configuration. I might even go a step further and say how nice it would be to have the hard buttons configurable to use in the launcher. For instance push the datebook, and have the focus shift away from game selection over to the console selection. Another press to focus on the left-side buttons. For complete stylus-free operation.

I really can't understand why people are so excited about having GBA.

Becasue there are some truly sweet games on there. RPGS and such that look and play great. Plus, not too many buttons are needed. Ideal for a Treo!

Tinnus: it should be obvious: they're more interested in playing games on a handheld device than they are in emulation We're almost at the point now where there are people coming here who were born after the original Gameboy was discontinued!

Let's face reality. Those who just want to play their games on the go can use their GBA. The ones REALLY wanting a mobile GBA emu just want to play GBA games on the go without needing a real GBA (or real carts for that matter).
Not that this is not 100% of the cases (there are some jutifyable cases) but that's how it really goes. Kind of explains Nintendo's paranoia...

Ah, most of the people who come here asking questions already answered somewhere probably didn't read the helppage But yeah that seems reasonable

Hmm... maybe an "LJR Tips" dialog that comes up and lets you scroll through tips? Have to turn it off in prefs, or it will come up by default?

There's something in people, including myself, that makes them not trust a help guide and just want to ask their OWN questions. It's just stupid.

I'm in favor for the tips. Make It come up somewhere and force the people to look through options to turn it off. People will then know it exists. Maybe it will help clear some things of for newcomers and clutter on this board. As a suggestion it wouldn't hurt to implempent _Em's Idea into snes tyl either
