I'm terribly sorry to bring such a novice question to you, but I am having trouble sending ROMS to my brand new Treo 650.
I have successfully moved the LJ emulator to my treo. I've gone to various websites to download ROMS. Each time I download the ROM and save it in a new folder. I proceed to try to sync it to my SD card. To di this, I go to the folder to retrieve it, and double click the ROM, it says the file doesn't exist.
Does anyone know what's going on? What am I doing wrong? I appreciate it, thanks

Ok, I've been adding and moving files. I now get the former dialog box sometimes, and this set as well sometimes:
"The emulation module required to run this rom is not present"
Then it says in another dialog box:
"2: /palm/programs/ljp/ljp-snes.zem"
Ok, the fix seems like it should be obvious. What is going on?

"2: /palm/programs/ljp/ljp-snes.zem"
This dialog says it all. The .zem files must be placed in the folder Palm/Programs/LJP on the expansion card. Without these files in this location, the emulator simply will not run.
On the "file doesn't exist error" , is this on the palm or on the computer?

So i downloaded UDMH and that seemed to have eliminated most of the problems. I now have a ROM or two, but can't load anymore on. Whenever I try to select it to sync, I get a dialog box saying it doesn't exist. What could that mean?
*edit* Now none of my roms work... I have a treo 650, and was using my treo 600 software, after I upgraded to treo 650 software, I now get the dialog box saying "Could not load this Rom". Either that or it just resets... ANy ideas?

I'd suggest you to use the installer instead of the ZIP, it installs the modules to the card automatically and all.

Yes, that would be a good idea. I had recently discovered something called card associations and did it manually. The card associations just tell the hotsync mgr and or palm pilot where on the memory stick/internal volume a file with a given extension for example a snes game named mariobros.smc. Resco Explorer can edit these and mimi types too, the trial is more than long enough. Or you could use card directories at freeware palm. You can set these programs to restore associations on reset. Then drag all of your roms to 'install handheld files' and hotsync. I would also reccomend that you double your hotsync connection speed by following directions I posted under the topic in general talk 'Palm PPP"
