Hey guys..
I can't get my save states to work with my nes files. If i do a quick load, it just loads the rom as if i reset the game. My SNES roms seem fine.
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Try launching the game and then quickloading from the beltbar.

Doesn't work for me. When I try that, it just freezes on the "loading" screen. Also, when I soft reset now for some reason, instead of 19762 memory available, it jumps down to 4438. Any advice?

yes; I'd guess you're using an NVFS device? back everything up, do a hard reset, and restore. That should fix most of your problems, I'd guess.

Stupid question.. NVFS? I have a LifeDrive, does that count?

NVFS = Non-Volatile File System. Includes newer models such as LifeDrive, Tungsten T5 and E2, TX, Treo 650 and 700p, Z22 etc.

Just a bit different: NVFS stands for Non Virtual File System

Well, in the Palm world, nvfs actually is non-volatile file system. Volatility is referring to the older palms' tendency to lose all information in ram when they are not supplied with constant power, such as when the batteries go dead. Hence those with the non-volatile system do not lose information stored in ram even if the power is reduced or removed. The virtual file system is software used to access external storage media, such as SD cards.

Ok, I do feel stupid for asking this, but how do you hard reset an LD? I can soft and warm reset, but I can't figure out how to hard reset.
And when you say backup, does that mean EVERYTHING I want to keep including the Dmitry stuff?
Thanks again for all your help.

A hard reset means wiping everything out so yeah you need to backup EVERYTHING.
Just press the reset button while holding the power switch (yeah a bit awkward in the LD).

Okay, thanks Tinnus =)
I could not, however, find where the program files such as UMDH and UnCache are located on my palm. I'll keep looking, but I may need to be pointed in the right direction.
What I did yesterday was hard reset with a secure erase. It reset my system to default. However, when I HotSynced, it restored it completely to where I was in the beginning, and I still couldn't save states in the NES. I've also noticed that I can't save states on any of the other systems, either.
Thanks again for all the help. I hate sounding like a noob, so I apologize.
