The palm/program/ljp directory is on your SD Card. If you have a card reader for your computer it is alot easier to transfer the roms to it. As far as I know no one has created an install document with pictures. Hopefully this helps.

Further to this, all of the discussion assumes you have purchased and inserted said SD Card. It doesn't come with the Palm by default. However, you can pick up a 128MB SD card for around $15 these days. I'd get (minimum) a 512MB card though, if I were you... you'll probably end up listening to music on your Palm too, and that uses up a lot of space on the SD card.

The instructions say to install them in /palm/programs/ljp. The roms go in the roms (sub)folders.

the .lem files go into the files accordingly right . thats what ive done . ive entered them as .lem files and .rom files and still nothing. i got my treo 650 updated to 1.13a but i erased some files which i thought were uneccesary is there something in my palm that i might have accidently deleted that may be a problem or is everything suposed to work on sd card which i ve installed it to?

They go into /palm/programs/ljp. The roms go into the different roms directories (ex. nes roms go into /palm/programs/ljp/nes/roms.) Just keep working on it and you'll get it working.

Are you saying that the roms, nes , snes, gb ,etc are not built into the ljp 1 rc2 emulator? if not then you solved my problem, if so i m back to square one

No emulators (that I know of) include any roms. It is up to you to find them or dump them from your own cartridges. A good starting place is www.pdroms.de

I had a problem with roms not showing. What happened with me was that I had LJP RC3 installed manually, and then I had problems with it because I didnt know how to make it work so then I used the auto install .prc and this caused the roms to not show up for some reason... I used FileZ and deleted all traces of LJP, read that there were issues with RC3 on palm TX so I downloaded RC2 .prc autoinstall and it's happy days now Oh btw, dont forget to set UDMH to clear like 19600kb space for LJP - my other frustrating mistake hehe reset, dbcache, UDMH, LJP -> woohoo Hope that helps, fibbo.
