reset reset reset

have a zire 71, 2gb sd card...

installed ljp, rom, worked fine the first time, accidentally hit the house and it reset, now no roms will work..... i get these nice little messages -

cannot sys_alloc 262176 Bytes

free ram 159/112

cannot sys_alloc 65536 Bytes

free ram 78/40

then some write manger dbl-ish thing i cant remember and forgot to write down, dont wanna reset just to get it.

the ok boxes were all black...

will reinstalling ljp work maybe?

i already tried reinstalling roms

What ljp is saying is that the device cannot provide enough dynamic memory. This is not the same as the "free memory" as reported by the Palm launcher, nor the free memory on the SD card. The only way to increase it to the maximum is with the shareware udmh. The free Fargo Heap Resizer can increase it from 1MB to 1.96MB, but this is not enough to play snes and genesis. Check the dynamic memory size near the top of the ljp launcher.

If you're using LJP1.0RC2, then try RC3 or vice versa. Some Palms seem to work better with one version or the other. Be sure to delete the ljp.ini file in /Palm/Programs/LJP/ folder when changing versions.

thanks for the info, all i really want right now is the gameboy, but 9.95 is nothing to have udmh, ill be getting it later. hope it all works
