well i came up with my own save problem while playing snes and not anything else whenever i try saving it states that LJP has has requested a chunk of unremovable memory and then i have to reset. I am using a TlE and udmh and lightspeed. I read somewhere that this is caused by LJP not releasing ram so I went and fooled around with my UDMH settings. Free ram before altering setting : 29426 after launching game : 11433 after modding (set ing show ....k of dynamic memory to its max 9999 UDMH version 1.8 and greater :34463 and after launching game :34463 the error would still occur but not as often only when saving high end games ex. crono trigger but the memory would always be released so then I went and set the show...K to 30000 and have not had a problem since ;D... with memory issues on sound though I have had some seriours issues on the snes module on ealier verison i had no problem when sound other than a speed hit but now whenever I launch a game the sound is really screwed up for the first second then it sounds allright but whenever i try loading a save state there is no sound tried many different settings btw thnx in advance for any help

4997 is not that much memory only 4.87 meg umm have you tried UDMH @ dmitrygr.titaniumhosting.com/articles.php?pg=69( I'm not selling it or anything) but that seems to fix most problems and may fix yours. I have had your problem although it was only whenever my battery was low. I do not think palm can read or write to the expansion card when the battery is low but I do not believe that is your problem

If you save a state with sound off, then load it, you won't have it back on. (for logical reasons: it saves all of the emulator state, which includes the sound chip status too)
You can turn sound on inside the game without needing to reboot in the 'fast' mode for Genesis and in NES and GB. Z80 sound in Genesis must be started with the game and will not turn itself on without a reset (so, save a state with sound on and be sure to have it on while loading too). You can try setting SNES sound to on during the game and telling the emulator not to reset (it says: reset ADVISED but not needed). Sometimes it works, but for me it usually freezes after 3 seconds or such. If you turn sound off it works again.
