Was there a version of LJZ or LJP that supports a Genesis six button configuration?

The current version supports genesis with all available buttons.

Does it? Only if MetaView added it, if my memory serves me it only had A, B and C.

That's what the "six buttons" controller had: A, B, C and 3 extra X, Y and Z (which, guess what, add up to 6 buttons in total).
I think some fighting games used the extra buttons or something. I've never come along one that really does, though.
(although it's great to use your old 6-button Genesis controller with today's games thanks to PPjoy and my great Genesis-to-Parallel-by-Tinnus(tm) adapter)

Okay I finally got around to modifying this bluetooth xbox gamepad that I'm talking about. The palm sees it as a bluetooth printer, or at least the icon shows a printer when finding it. None of the typical binding keys (0000, 1234, etc.) worked on it.
After the modification to connect it to a PC, it showed up as a USB hub with a few several USB HID devices, same as any wired xbox controller. Looks like it is as you all feared....it uses the bluetooth for the headset only, and its own RF for the controller buttons.
Anyway, you have to cut the wire in order to get a USB plug attached to it, so do you still want it, metaview?

Wouldn't mind, do you know how much the shipping costs to Germany are?

You can go to the DHL website and use their shipping calculator -- or I guess the USPS site if he's in the US and sending by public mail.
