vilmos: Well, I do bother to try things out. I tried RC3 when it came out and it gave a TON of problems, since, I have an NVFS device, so, I switched back to RC2. In terms of these latest changes, I've been really busy lately, so, I haven't had time to remove LJP from my sd card, palm and then reinstall everything and configure the buttons again. liljuni0r: You do have a point . If this software was new, so, I just have to install and use that's fine. But when you have to configure the buttons after installing and play around with it a lot for trial and error, you will need time which I don't have plus I've been having some screen problems with my palm. Before installing RC6, I plan to do a hard reset then install, this way my palm is at its best and I can then document any errors, but before trying it, I also need to make sure that I can go back to RC2 just as easily if I am faced with a lot of problems that I can't fix or find a way around .

Can anyone get sound to work in Comix Zone (Genesis)?
Actually, there's a bunch games that don't render all audio (some do some audio though).

Reupload with: * a panic exit button added * ROM list handling a bit improved (page wise scrolling with the 5-way) * Sound-switch in Genesis works, but only when you start with sound enabled and then disable it
Could someone check the sound stuff in Genesis? Is there something which got missed between the versions? Please tell me the latest version where something worked, before it gets lost.

Has anyone been able to play any Neogeo Pocket game with the latest version of LJP? I can't get any game to play. They all get to the title screen and then stall.

Did some more testing on the latest version: 1) the OK/Cancel messed up again: pressing Reset XXX brings up a dialog where you have to press 5-way right then 5-way down to press the OK button. The Quit Yes/No buttons are back to needing 5-way r/l to select.
Also, in SNES: SM Kart - pressing the B or Y keys locks up the emulation.

You see why I gave up on that codebase... you fix something, and it breaks something else.

elinscheid: NeoGeo seems to work for me on my treo 680.. but is now REALLY slow.
_Em: Mario Kart bug is even worse for me. Now I cant play the game at all. Any key freezes the game. Please note I said 'the game' and not 'ljp' itself. I can still exit from the game and return to the Launcher.

I tried playing Neo Pocket games on both my Treo 680 and my Zod2 and every single time the games will not get passed the title screen. I can't remember...did Pocket games ever work in LJZ?

Yes, they did. Unfortunately, I didn't save RC4, RC5, RC6, RC6.1, or RC6.2, so I can't tell Henk when that broke.

Hello Tinnus, Just wondering, how is the work on LJX going? Thanks unfortunately tinnus cant answer that as we have him locked in the basement with only a PC and a shoot that we occasionally throw food and drink down.

Well, the last thing I remember was that the NES was working, but I can't recall anymore. Is there any newer updates, like launcher is all done or other consoles(SNES) are working? Thanks

Haha, I had the hardest time figuring out what you were saying here until I realized you meant "chute" instead of "shoot". Sorry, I'm an English Major...I can't resist correcting stuff like that. Anyways, double laughs for the funny post and for using the wrong shüt (wouldn't it be easier if English was just phonetic like Spanish?).

Currently doing the SDL launcher. I asked, in another thread (that no one saw ) if you guys want me to show you a launcher for the SDL version, or an emulator POC for PalmOS (giving that the Palm-emulator POC would show the potential speed increase for the new framework).

Is that an inclusive, or exclusive or, Tinnus? If inclusive, YES if exclusive, I'm more interested in the POC.

I don't know what you're talking about, but these fellows seem to know what they're talking about. I guess I'll give you a YES too ;D

Ok, I'll was away for 2 days and couldn't bother to answer, but I've read and tested most of the things and my results are:
OK/Cancel works fine on a TX and a Treo 680, either with a tap or the 5-way. Reset emulator also works as expected. SM Kart: I don't had it with me. Neo Pocket: Works, slow, but still looks playable. Was it ever faster? Did I change anything which could make it slow?
BTW: I've found some mysterious "filter: HW" settings when running Genesis on my Treo. When it was checked the game didn't render anything on the screen and I had to change the video settings in the game. No clue what it comes from. I don't really like to have the settings stored on the card, as I usually switch cards between devices and the settings aren't compatible between them.

I guess the HW filter is for using hardware (ie the Zodiac's graphic chipset) for the smoothing filters.

Yes, I know, but I wonder why LJP doesn't check for the device capabilities before allowing such an option. Next update will remove this option when not on a Zodiac.
If you have any crash or unpredictable behaving, please set the screenmode to x1. At least on SNES I'm quite sure it trashes the memory when doing x1.25 and not fullscreen (statbar on).

On my SONY Clie PEG-NX80V, 1x and 1.25x mode (not high-res) will crash the system, and I'll have to reset, it will only work in high res for me, as for smoothing, it works on my Clie, just become very slow for SNES if I do.
