I've tested LJP RC7 on my VZ90 that I just received recently, it works well I'd say, I won't go with all the details about it, but here's what I get on my VZ90.
NES: (x1.25 Display Size, No Smoothing, Auto Frame Skip, 44Khz Audio) Seems to play smoothly and nicely without any problem, don't feel any lag while playing NES games.
SNES: (x1 Display Size, No Smoothing, Auto Frame Skip, 11Khz Audio) Tested with fast sprites and fast renderer, slow, but for games that doesn't require you to respond fast, such as term based game or RPG would seem ok, with audio off it would play at an acceptable speed, but still no good for action games for sure.
GB: (x2 Display Size, No Smoothing, Auto Frame Skip, 22Khz Audio) Even with x1 display size, it tends to lag to the point where you would get annoyed, with audio off it lag less, but still noticeable.
Overall: I am surprised it managed to run games as well as it did, I was expecting something like 1~5 FPS on everything, turns out it ran better than that, but of course, with the weak CPU at 123Mhz maxium, it won't run any better than my NX80V.
I am looking forward to LJX (or LJR?) when it's released, if what Tinnus claims about its more organized/optimized code, it should increase a little more speed (I hope?), at the very least I'd like to be able to play GB games nicely on it.
Tinnus, I understand LJX (LJR) is your top priority and you probably haven't looked, not to be bossy or trying to rush you, and definately not trying to offend you, have you got any chance of taking a quick look on the reverse engineered libraries for HHE and GE2D/DSP? Any possibility of taking some advantages out of GE2D/DSP?
