Hi --
I am trying to run LJP RC7 on a Treo 680. When I try to launch any SNES or NES ROM, I get the message, "unzip OK size ____kb" (depends on the ROM), and "Stack Use 10%, followed by the "Could not load ROM" message; then the unit either returns to the launcher or crashes. This only happens with NES or SNES ROMS (VCS roms work fine). I have followed the "HOW TO Optimize your LD (or anything NVFS) for LJP" instructions and have UDMH running.
Any suggestions?

Remove the LJP entry in UDMH, you don't need it. Don't know anything more yet.

bgorvine I sent you email with a link to my ljp.zip file.. I use the 680 and that one should work perfectly for you as its already configured.

edit: snes only the nes flashed the message then plays the rom

the message it flashes is purposeful information. flashing the message is a good thing.

It's possible you've pimped out your 680 so much that it can't run SNES... not too likely on the 680, but possible.

i dont think so. some little programs like phone disconnect keycaps launch this. then the only big thing i have is slingplayer all the other versions worked fine. im thinking of just going back to rc1  |

Steps to take: Delete ljp.ini. Delete <romname>.ini from the ROMs folder if it exists. Make sure you don't have any LJP stuff stored on other card slots (eg, internal). Upgrade to RC7 (unstable). Cross your fingers, and see if it works  |

i emailed you a link to get my entire LJP folder... there is no reason why this shouldnt work on your 680 as thats what its configured for. atleast try it  |

I have the same problem with RC9. I tried some different version and it's always the same problem:
Stack use: 10 % then black screen.
When i tap on screen i can acces to menu like Save Load etc... but impossible to get into the game.

I don't know if this will work for you, but it is worth a try. I had a similar problem with my 700p, and RC8. If I took the nes or snes file and put it in a zipped folder it worked for me. Let us know.
