I just bought a new zodiac 2 today, and I have a question. Is it normal for some games in the genesis emulator such as double dragon to have no sound, but it does run smooth though?
Also street fighter turbo, and champions both crash the zodiac with a fatal exception number then theres a reset button you hit.

First of all, welcome to the Zodiac-Owner family Genesis is not exactly the best-performing part of LJP... while it has gone from "Proof-of-Concept" to being actually usable, it still isn't nearly as perfect as for Example the SNES module... so I'd suggest that you try to digg up a SNES version of the games that are available on both platforms. As for the rest: Make sure that you have ZX80 emulation enabled as most games use it for sound. But even then, it might work not work... for example, I haven't had any luck on Sonic Spinball so far, while Sonic 1,2,3D work fine.

P.S: You might also want to set the core option from ASM to C for certain games... the C core is a lot slower, but a bit more stable than the ASM version.

I've never gotten Sonic 1 working for some reason, but it could just be my ROM.

Sonic 1 works perfectly, doesn't even need Z80 emulation to have sound.
(BTW it's Z80, not ZX80, even though I think it says "ZX80" somewhere in LJP)

As a proud Sinclair ZX81 owner, I have the right to refer to whatever I want as ZX__

I had a Sonic 1 cartridge for my real Genesis that used to freeze in the third level if you followed the ground-level path. Luckily there were several paths up above
