i have trouble with SNES and genesis roms. SNES roms appear on the list, but when i load them, i get some distorted moving yellow-orange dots. and it happens for every rom. genesis roms does not even appear on the list
so to summarize: 1. i have palm T3 with 17MB free 2. i tried with and without UDMH 5.3 3. i installed correctly all the files 4. NES and GB are working just fine 5. i use the latest RC7
questions: 1. could it be that the format of SNES roms i have is not correct? 2. does the extension of genesis files is *.gen? 3. do you know for a fact that T3 can play SNES and GEN? 4. do you have any ideas to help me?
thank you!

1. Maybe. What extension are they? 2. LJP plays .smd and .bin. Maybe look for a converter? Just changing the extension will most likely NOT work. 3. It should play both without problem without UDMH (maybe with UDMH if your system is VERY full of garbage).

Thanks for the help!
about genesis, my roms are *.gen, i will try to convert or find other roms
i downloaded some new SNES roms and they work fine but there are 2 other problems now:
1. the gamepad keys (in closed mode) are correct with NES but incorrect with SNES( right is down, up is start, start is select, D is up...)
2. when i try to launch a game on horizontal mode, the game stuck and i can enter the OSD menu but can't get out of it except for going back to the launcher.

1. I'll check it. 2. Don't switch to landscape before. It moves the screenbuffer away and that's why you can't see anything.

2. Don't switch to landscape before. It moves the screenbuffer away and that's why you can't see anything. if i don't change to landscape before i launch then when? i don't see any option to change to landscape after i launch the game, i do see an option to set x1,x1.5 or wide. but if i choose wide when the palm is not in landscape mode then i can see only half the screen... what button did i miss? btw, it's not that i can't see anything, actually i can... but it's behind the OSD menu and it refuses to to disappear when i tap "back"

Wide would be the option to switch to landscape. But it doesn't do it at the moment. I wrote about in the rc7 thread somewhere. You can see the picture in the OSD, because it is drawn by the OS, the usual emulator output is drawn directly in the video ram, and would need to be rotated for wide on everything but Zod.

So are you going to fix it? I also have a T3 and would love to use the whole screen... T.T
