Genesis Astorm on T3 - Freezes after 5 seconds

When I try to run Genesis Alien Storm, it works until the title screen, then freezes. If I press the start button to skip intro, I can reach the main menu but right after chosing the option, it goes to a black screen and freezes for good! I tried some alternate settings like Using C instead of ASM and turn sound off, but nothing seems to help.

I have a Tungsten T3 with a 512 SDcard.

Have you tried turning on Z80 emulation?
It's a checkbox labeled ZX80 in the Audio config screen.

Thanks. Now it's working properly. ;D

The only trouble I have now is when I have to press a combination of keys during gameplay (by pressing fire and up arrow at the same time, for example), it always activates the emulator menus then I have to take the pen and click on the 'back' green button to return to game. It's annoying.
