That's standard Mario 3 using a graphics filter like HQ3X.

Yes, but the blitter code would really kill your framerate. The HQ3X/HQ4X blit code puts strain on 2GHz PCs running ZSNES or SNES9X. However, it seems to me that LJX should be able to implement some of the basic blitters, such as Simple Smoothing. Here's some more info: scale2x.sourceforge.net/, retrofx.com/, www.hiend3d.com/

Actually, a lot of these are already in LJP, have a look at the GBC options... they are simply not enabled in other modules because well, they only look particularly good if there are only very few colors and also because there's not much point scaling something up by 2 or more, just to scale it down again to fit your screen... it'll look a bit better but not enough to justify the drop in speed.
But what might be more interesting is the fact that you were looking at SuperMario Allstars... a SNES remake of most Mario games in one cardrige.

The best SNES cartridge to own is SuperMario Allstars & World - it's a single cart with all but one game, including the ones that never made it out of Japan previously!

ya was definately mario all stars.. looks great. SNES is still a little to slow yet to play on the 680. Hopefully LJX will improve speed just enough
