New Palm System-Wide Driver for BT gamepad?

I'm thinking I'm probably going to get a BT gamepad for LJP, but I was just looking at the site for the gamepad, and now it seems that there's a Palm driver listed in their drivers, that apparently remaps the buttons to any key for the entire system. Has anyone tried this? Which would be better for LJP, using the built-in gamepad support, or using the new driver?

Edit; At least, as far as I know its new, I don't remember seeing a Palm driver last time I checked their support page. I assume thats why the driver had to be built into LJP?

no, the driver is useless for ljp, because of the way the input is handled...
