Hey guys I'm new to this LJP emulator, which is really awesome, but didn't really see any specifics about the 755p so I figured I'd ask. Will 1.0 RC8 run on my 755p without any hacks or modifications, or is it necessary to overclock and use UDMH, specifically for SNES games? 755p users how is your experience running SNES games?? Is there anything else I need to know to have this running smoothly?? Thanks.

I've been playing on my Treo 755P since R7, and it's worked fine with most of everything except for SNES games. If you really want to play SNES games decently (many are quite playable, I might make a compatibility list), then you'll want PXAClocker. With that, you can clock it to 400~mhz clock speed and 200~ for everything else. They'll run fine with auto frameskip.

Okay I can't seem to install RC8 on my Treo...I put the .prc file on my mem card and run it but it won't install, when i exit it keeps saying "Cannot write LJP ini file, preferences won't be saved." What is going on?? I've made sure its RC8...but for some reason when I open the program its greeting says "Welcome to LJP 1.0RC7" but then in the top left it says it is Launcher 1.0 RC8. Even in the help screen it says that it is version 1.0 RC7....I even tried using older versions but same thing happened. This is a brand new phone, but you think a hard reset would work? Can anyone help?

If you run ljp from your mem card, it won't correctly set up everything IIRC. Try running it from main memory. Check out the NVFS instructions for more details on getting LJP working well.

I've already tried to run it on internal memory, thats actually the first thing I did, it still gives the same error. I dunno I guess I'm gonna do a hard reset and see if that works.

LJP doesn't need to be on internal memory. Would make developing very hard. Everything can be on SD card. You just copy the .prc into the Launcher folder and the .zem files into the LJP folder and the ROMs into the appropriate system folders. When it complains about the .ini file not written: check first if the .ini file exists, if it is writable and just for fun, try to delete it. It works, believe me :-)
