This is directed at Tinnus. I went this route because I assumed his inbox was full ;-) I read on a post about you looking for a WM emulator which i'm assuming you meant Windows Mobile. Not sure if you've found it by now but I recently found one distributed by microsoft. (Was using it to see if I should get a WM based phone.) It even comes with an internet emulator for it so you could simulate it sending information to and from another phone through the internet (if that is your goal) www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=38C46AA8-1DD7-426F-A913-4F370A65A582&displaylang=enIt's called Windows Mobile 6 SDK. Good luck, and thanks for all the hard work on LJP to date.

I was kinda aware that existed, but thanks for pointing it out anyway First objective for LJX is to get it done for PC and PalmOS, then port to other platforms. I will be sure to check out on Windows Mobile as well.

WM would be a great option - and who knows what route PalmOS will take in the future ... would be nice to add Linux port as well!

black berry would be hard since there is no touchscreen so it would be hard to have options during a game...

It's great to know that Tinnus is putting PalmOS on the first or the second on the list for LJX, maybe just me, but it seems like less and less people these days are using PDA/SmartPhone with PalmOS..

black berry would be hard since there is no touchscreen so it would be hard to have options during a game... That kind of reason would also rule out GP2X, PSP and whatnot. It's not hard to have a key-only menu (and LJX's UI will be controllable by both keys and mouse/pen)

sweet man. Tinnus I just had an idea. Instead of fully porting ljx to win mo, why not just try to make it compatible with stlye tap? It would save time..

It's easier to make a proper port, really. LJ and all those cool apps do lots of stuff they shouldn't so they can be fast, and that would either be broken or make it even slower in a compatibility (Styletap-like) environment.

It's great to know that Tinnus is putting PalmOS on the first or the second on the list for LJX, maybe just me, but it seems like less and less people these days are using PDA/SmartPhone with PalmOS.. It was a hard switch for me given that a number of programs that I wanted to keep weren't available on the WM5 platform. I have learned to do without the programs (incredible how some things seem important until you are forced to do without). I bit the bullet when the time came to purchase the phone. I can't seem to remember why I decided on the 8125 vs the Treo. It's programs such as LJP and PalmMAME still make me wish I could have both on my phone (without using StyleTap). Those two are the only programs that I still use on my wife's T5.
