I am a noob and would really appreceite help. I have a Treo 700P W/ 1.0 RC8. I think I am messing up on step 5 of the install guide. I have XXXX.NES and XXXX.SNES files that I have put in the proper ROMS. When I open LJP launcher the files all come up. When I hit the Launch or Load, I get a quick flash of 2 bubbles that say, "unzip ok size XXXXXkb", and "Stack use 10%". The screen looks like it is going to start, and it just starts flashing real small dots and nothing happens. I don't really understand what you mean about renaming the file to mp3, prc, or pdb. I have taken the xxxx.nes file in the rom and changed it to xxxx.mp3, with the same outcome. Any help would be appreceiated.

Renaming the files tro .mp3: Only necessary to fool the Hotsync-app to get the files hotsynced on the memory card. Using a card reader on the desktop is far better and doesn't need renaming.
Small dots: sounds like the roms aren't compatible?

I have tried several different roms, and I still have the same outcome. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone have any other suggestion? I might try to mess around with something other than NES or SNES.

OK, if I take the same rom that didnt work and put it in a zipped file, it works. I don't know if I was supposed to do this, but everything is working fine now. Thnks to everyone that read this and tried to help.
