I've heard about ljx so much around the forums...I'm a newbie.. can someone just tell me what the heck ljx is and how its different from ljp?(I have a centro in case you you needed to know)

It's the new version/branch/milestone of LJP. LJX would be something like "Little John X" where X is something we couldn't name yet ;D LJX is being developed by myself and will include support for several platforms apart from PalmOS--Windows, Linux, Gp2X, PSP, Win Mobile, etc--and overall cleanup/rewrite/feature-adding/coolness. Meanwhile the current branch (LJP 1.0) is being worked on by Metaview with all of those RC4-Rc9 (I think). We still call them "RC" (Release Candidate) because it's too unstable to be considered "1.0" final. LJX instead, should be stable and cool enough to be widespread and "1.0-ed". I should work a good deal on LJX this month and next, so expect frequent updates and some screenshots/alphas now and then  |

Wow thanks for the quick reply, and I hope to see your LJ "x" (how about yall call it "xTreme"?) project come to life for us all since we all love retro games(that work. |

yaH - LJX will knock your socks off!
Just do a quick search on 'LJX' and you will find lotsa early discussion on how it all came to pass ...

welcome as well, but dont hold your breathe for JLX. its on its way, but wont be tomorrow, because today is yesterdays tomorrow and im sure its not ready just yet! |
