Made this topic in the hopes that Metaview would be able to help or address this problem and maybe even fix it in the next version.
Metaview, if you don't want to bother dealing with problem, I am ok with it, I understand that Clie is a thing of past, and there's really no need bother yourself with this if you don't want to, I am just hoping you can because I use this device all the time.
I don't know why, but there's always this sound problem with GB audio on all the LJP versions, what happens is that I can hear the game audio, but there would be alot of noise that's louder than the game audio, however, when I play NES, SNES, GENZ, none of these game's audio has problem like these.
I realize that Clie NX80V's audio system is different from other Palm's and which is why NX80V owners needs to use CliePet's MCA2.05.
I have tried changing every audio settings in LJP, every setting in MCA2.05, none of these makes the noise go away, one of the setting makes the noise a little better, but still annoying.
It's frustrating for me because GB is the only one that I have audio problem with on my Clie NX80V, on my VZ90 it sounds perfect (due to the fact that it runs with a new PalmOS which uses different sound system than NX80V that doesn't require MCA2.05) but VZ90 doesn't have a powerful CPU to even run GB games at full speed.

Might be interesting to point out that the main difference between GB and the other emulators, regarding sound, is that it uses 8-bit sound instead of 16. That might be a bug in MCA code...
Maybe I can change it/make it an option in LJX to output sound in 16bit for GB, assuming this is the problem.

Well, this is certainly the problem. Several Palm devices just fail when using the wrong bitrate... I will see if I just change it to use 16 bit for all. Tinnus, I guess it isn't worth an option.

It might become a little bit slower if you're converting it to 16bit (ok, shifting 8 bits) and writing double the bytes to the buffer

I don't think it'll be all that noticeable on gameboy, and it might actually fix other buffer-related issues as well, if there are any.

Ok then, I think I'll just do that.
BTW, _Em, won't you test the new LJX PalmOS thing? ;D

I will eventually, but I have too many things to do and not enough time [edit] decided to bite the bullet. I'll post results in the other thread

Thank you Tinnus and Metaview for the fast reply, I wasn't expecting any reply actually because this is just a problem with a certain Clie models only....
