1) In Super Mario World (SNES), quicksave sometimes is wierd. When you press it (around every 4th time), it says "Saving" like in panicExit, but then shows the "Do you want to save" dialog. Whatever you press, it then exits with panic exit.
2) Occasionally in Super Metroid (SNES), going through a door causes a black screen. This even happens after loading an earlier state. However, loading via the game's menu works fine and lets you through.
3) on the Zodiac, the Help screen is not in landscape, but the DIA is collapsed, so when you go back to the launcher it doesn't expand.
4) On the Zodiac, the starting animation are not always full screen (some are) [COSMETIC]
5) Feature Request: Bluetooth Multiplayer, like in ZdoomZ, Duke3D, Zhexen, NesEm, etc.
6) Clicking "Load" on any NES game causes a reset when you try to load a file. The in-game load works fine. [FIXED: metaview? (still happens to me with a fatal exception: 10)]
7) Kirby: Superstar saga won't play, says to take out multiplayer connector. Should there be an option?
8) Feature Request: For all multiplayer (hotseat) switching systems, can you make it so we can assign a button to switch players? [ADDED: metaview?]
9) LJP doesn't accept files from Resco Explorer: when i click it, it transfers, but doesn't launch in LJP.
Thanks!

2) Did you try with all the graphics hacks disabled? Did you try the C core? Did you try with sound ON? 4) Cosmetic. 5) I really doubt someone will do that with the LJP codebase, not to mention it's been requested and commented several times, just do a search 7) It seems several games on several consoles are suffering from that, so I also think enabling "Massive Multiplayer Devices" should be an option. 8) I think the "reset" button in the beltbar does just that, haven't tried any of the latest versions tohugh. But try to check the changelogs of the latest Metaview releases. 9) Because it doesn't register for any notifications or launch codes except normal launch. Not really a bug, just something that no one ever wanted

8) I use a Zodiac (in full screen), so i don't have a beltbar. I meant a hardkey (my bluetooth button)
2) It pauses halfway through the door, mostly black, but the door is visible.
4) There could be a selector (of which ones/one you want to use)
6) It crashes on all systems too :-(
Thanks for your response!

6 is an odd one... this used to happen on NON zods and was fixed.

2) Super Metroid is one of many games that needs sound enabled. Either keep sound set to on or sim.
6) Unable to reproduce on my device
7) Already reported on several games, including Mario RPG
8) Beltbar works for most devices, but an assignable key would be nice
9) Would be a cool feature....but not sure if it'd be worth the work and hassle to get it added to LJP. Maybe postpone for LJX?

It actually works without sound for me (I am playing it RIGHT now!)
Yeah, it has been crashing a LOT. And what happened to catogorizing ROMs?

What do you mean what happened to it? Put it as a feature request for LJX LJP's launcher never had that ability.

actually LJP did start to have this ability I believe and then it was abandoned. you ould touch the upper right of the launcher to get a drop down menu.

I think I disabled it in RC3 due to it being too unstable, or maybe Metaview did it later? Anyway maybe we should try enabling it again since the launcher's more stable and all

Said by life drive on a different forum.
Thumbs up LJP 1.0 Finla progress report so it's here and happening i just crated a progress report for LJP 1.0 final
Ljp final is finally out and it's worth the wait too. The browser has a little better interface than RC8 There is background music which is usually mario and the browser remembers what was selected last. NES just keeps getting better and better. I fee that the resolution for the NES have become better. The speed has improved drastically. Smario now feels like the original mario on those proto video games. I have only tried the high resolution screen of my lifedrive and the colours are really rich.
SNES is just completely worth mentioning. The speed is like a rocket even without overclocking!!!!! Sounds like heaven! Though there is still no support for two keys at a time.... It's still mind blowing.
Gameboy colour is not the most developed part and the resolution is still as bas as ever. Speed is o.k. And i feel that gameboy has been the most undeveloped part of the project.
The nes tested were
Contra Contra 2 Smario
Snes tested were
Dbz4eng Chronotrigger
Gameboy advance tested was
Pokemon crystal edition (eng)
Gameboy colour tested was
Dbz goku - legendary super saiyan
NesEM can't even come near ljp. Ljp is the best. NesEM shows stuff smaller and the sound quality is disgusting
Though the final edition turned out completely amazing..... I still suffered the problem of being unable to load saved games in NES (i have always had this problem..... NesEM saves them perfectly). SNES and GBA, GBC work completely fine.... I am trying to forward this message to ljp forums.... and would really appreciate your help..... I seriously think that they should develop ljp on lifedrive and then see the bugs and correct them.

"Though there is still no support for two keys at a time...." well, must be a OS issue... Anyway, thank you for forwarding this feedback.

Tell him to update the firmware to the 2.0 version. ALso that there's no "resolution" difference in NES, SNES or Gameboy, and as far as I know, no dramatic speed optimizations I think he just let the frameskip on "Auto" and didn't notice it. I really can't know what he means by "Gameboy's resolution is as bad as ever". What does he want us to do, hack Pokemon so it's 640x480? Tell him to use some of the 2X filters. Unless he means the Gameboy's image is ugly, well, then complain with Nintendo. Oh and there's no GBA, Crystal is a GBC game NesEm's sound works right and it has a scaling option, custom filter included (although the filter is slow). NES saves in LJP for everyone, no? It just seems the "load" button in the launcher is broken for al lsystems in the last release. I have a LifeDrive, developed and tested RC3 on it, and it works perfectly. I'm just going to send 1.0final to it now

this is correct. it simply doesnt show the states to load, maybe its pointed to the wrong place or something but loading the state any other way works fine.

New bugs:
10) In-game config sometimes crashes the emulator (when i tap the screen. possibly related to teal lock trying to activate?)
11) I still get crashes with "Load" in the launcher. Fatal exception: 10. But only sometimes.
12) Can we have catagories back? I want to go back to RC2 just so i can categorize my roms...
13) Can you move the buttons up a bit so there isn't a gap where Game Genie used to be (or implement game genie :-)
14) Auto-whatever does nothing and is only available in the in-game menu.
15) Emu-speed does nothing as well.
16) In GB, the filters overlap in the in-game menu.
17) Filters only work in 2x, not in widescreen (but they do in LJX... why?)
18) Directories show up in launcher, cause crashes.
for categories, you could make it so when you chose a category, it changed the path for that system to path+category, so it only showed that, and stabliltiy wouldn't be affected???

Either someone goes there and fixes it, or not. Personally I won't mess any more with the already messy launcher code. If you understand something about programming, go and take a look. It's outrageously redundant and confusing. 14) That's autofire and it should really work. 15) That should also work, it used to before and I see no reason it wouldn't now since no one changed anything related to that. Of course, if you set it to MORE than 100, your device will have to keep up with the speed since it doesn't use 10 frameskip (like turbo mode does). But I did use it several times to slow-motion through hard areas in games 16) Because there's no space otherwise in 320x320 and the menus weren't re-coded for Zodiac space-wise IIRC. If I did make them wider, that was only that--relative positions would still be the same. 17) Because they're 2x filters. For non-2X-able consoles you can use the other 3 available modes (bilinear, StretchNester and Scale2xSaI--fast,med,slow. BTW Scale2xSaI is faster then Nester hehe). Anyway in a Zodiac you should use the HW scaling since it's free speed-wise. 17b) They work in LJX for non-2X modes because I magick'ed them a little

Try to go in the key config screen and reconfigure the left and right keys since they most likely don't come right for your model.
What's your native language? Maybe someone here can help you better in a language you know well since your english is not very good and maybe we're not understanding what the problem is.

But I did use it several times to slow-motion through hard areas in games Hehe...yeah normally I don't like cheating at all when I play games (and I consider that cheating) but I've done it a few times, mostly because I figure there's inherently more difficulty playing some of those games on a non-standard controller i.e. Treo buttons & keypad. And it works just fine to slow the emulation down.

There are some games where playing in bullet time is really quite fun One thing that would be neat in LJX is the ability to toggle between pre-configured frameskips with a button press.

Maybe i should test i other games besides super metroid before posting "bugs" :-)
Maybe add speed and stuff to the launcher settings? For some games autofire would be nice, but i have to turn it on each time...

I thought autofire was saved, but maybe not. But yeah, I'll be sure to add all configurations to both GUIs in LJX.
