I didn't have problems with the hard buttons until I tried a game that I don't normally test with... after that, I've had no luck whatsoever on my TX with the GG and SMS emulators registering buttons 1 and 2 and directional buttons during in-game play. The funny thing is, they work during non-in-game use (the emulator is running and I navigate a pre-game menu, for example). Once the game itself starts though, button presses stop registering.
Try with a game such as Fantasy Zone 1.

Sorry, no problem on my 680 even with Fantasy Zone 1 (except of being bored from this game...)

Odd... I just re-downloaded LJP 1.0.1 and it appears to be working again. Maybe I was using 1.0 before by accident.... I suggest the others having this problem wipe LJP from their system (all the zem files and the prc file), verify that there are no traces of those files on their device, then re-download from metaviewsoft.de/wordpress/?p=84 and install. You can see why I don't normally play that game eh, metaview?

SDHC issues. LJP .7 and prior is not compatible with SDHC cards, at least not on my Treo650. SNES and Genny crash immediately on launch. .8 and up? NO PROBLEMS! In fact, I'm running a 16GB card in my Treo 650 right now! Keep in mind you'll have to do the Rom hack, but it's really not hard at all. Enjoy!

I guess. The time of <1.0 are far far away :-)

It's weird, I can't remember anything major happening after .7 to enable SDHC compatibility, at most compiling with a newer SDK.

My guess is that the changes Metaview made in memory management caused some sort of issue to be resolved in handling >4GB cards. My guess is that it isn't an SDHC issue but a FAT issue

I would guess that. Did it work with SDHC on the 680 before the update?

So far I havent had any problems with hard buttons on my Treo 700, just the touchscreen buttons. I've never really gotten the screen buttons to work on my centro(i do not care, since I have a keyboard to make up for it.)

I've never had a touchscreen issue on my TX; it was the HB issue only.

oh. As long as were talking about buttons. ive noticed sometimes while playing some games like contra you cant use two buttons pressed at the same time. (ie run forward and shoot) is this this normal in some games or is it another issue?

If you have a lifedrive without the firmware update, this is a known hardware issue.
