So seeings how IR trading and Game Genie are not yet implemented on LJP does anyone else know of a way to get the rest of the pokemon that you can only get through trading?
And yes of course if LJX supports Game Genie this will solve everything, but LJX isn't out yet, and waiting is killing me!!!!! GO TINNUS!!!!

Could i maybe use an emulator on my comp that uses game genie/ gameshark with my save form my sd card, then resave with all pokemon and anything else and then put sd card back in phone?

nevermind, okay so i can't get my save states i already have to work with any emulator i have found so far... Why? Does anyone know how to change them over or anything?

Depends on the emulator... the SNES emulator, for example, IS snes9x. I can't remember which emulator the gameboy one is based on, but I'm sure Tinnus could tell you -- we actually have an old thread on here about this topic somewhere.
IIRC, the sram saves are all gzip compressed, so to edit them you have to uncompress them first, then edit, then recompress.

The GB module is based on GNUboy. BTW, I'm not sure about SRAM being gzipped in LJP (in LJX it is ), the only I can remember is that the Genesis save states are. |

If you used stock snes9x code, snes is also gzipped. Not sure about gnuboy stuff; been too long since I've worked with it.

Okay metaview. Do you think it would be wise to start a new thread with a proper heading on how to do it? Or should i just incorperate it in this thread?

Usually solutions go in the thread titled with the problem... that way other people with the same problem find the solution. As your issue is a common one (getting other pokemon onto your LJP game), this would be the appropriate thread (we have at least one other thread on the same/similar topic with the alternate heading).
