I'm considering buying a Zodiac but I really don't have a lot of $$. I'd mainly use it for emulation, also to write quick notes and look cool of course. But when emulating SNES/Genesis or other 16-bit+ systems does the Z2 have a different from the Z1?
This is assuming the only program in the internal memory is LJZ and ZLauncher.
Can the Z1 support full-speed (0-1 FS) SNES emulation without sound? I'd use hacks like UDMH or anything if needed.

There is NO difference whatoever between the Z1 and the Z2 except storage memory (32 vs 128). If you don't have the spare $80, buy a Z1 and al least a 64 ou 128MB SD card (trust me, you'll ALWAYS need more memory).
UDMH is really not needed for the Zodiac (either 1 or 2) because it has LOTS of dynamic memory (which UDMH is for, expanding it).

Ok, I have 2 512SD cards, so storing stuff isnt an issue. For $80 less... Ill play around with stuff to get it on my onboard memory. Thanks
