Genesis "Lock" error

I'm farely new to the Zodiac emulator scene, and a couple of Genesis games I've tried to play start up fine, then suddenly I get a little "Lock" button on the screen and the game stops. When clicked, it restarts the Genesis emulator. What exactly does "Lock" mean and how do I stop it?

Which games have you tried? Maybe your source is bad and you should look for another one? (unfortunately we can't help you there)
