It's a special page called "User (something)". Go to the special pages page and check the "restricted spacial pages" at the bottom. Although I don't think you're a Bureaucrat that can change people around and honestly I'd prefer just one person to have that power (_Em) because that can be potentially escalatingly dangerous

You're doing a great job samphex... looks like we've just about got the spam issue licked now and can move more into fixing up the actual content (like you've also been doing)

Isn't it time we have a new logo for the wiki? It should be little john so it is general to ljp and ljx. Or is it not time for that yet?

Isn't there an edit button? Did you try it with the latest 1.0?

Hey I was looking over the wiki list and super mario cart works on my centro, you probly have a bad rom What version have you confirmed it to work on? It's either a bad rom or it stopped working in the latest version.

He's probably using RC 8 -- Kart works in that but earthbound doesn't. Should be the oppisite in 1.x. In other news... it appears we've beaten the spammers (for now)! the volume of spam per day has dropped way off [edit] I've decided to start adding some games to the lists Some of them aren't very common, but they're fun!

Could someone try MarioCart on the desktop Snes? Which settings do you need to run it there?

Could it be affected by the multiplayer adapter attachment too? That seems to be the main thing that seems to be affecting games since 1.0.

It's the multiplayer adapter. I've tested a bunch of games now, and that seems to be blocking a few that worked in RC8 (unless there were other changes made too).

Can you update those games on the Wiki? Just make notes where games worked in RC8, if nothing else.
Never mind, looks like you already did. Thanks!

But for Mario Kart it isn't the multiplayer adapter, it must be something else. I've upgraded the emulation core in Snes around rc9 a bit.

ah; might not be the issue for a few of the other ones then either... they all had the exact same bug for me. Black screen after loading, with the FFS flipping between 59 and 61 in an identical pattern.

Ah, I was wondering if you had done that. That seems more likely the cause of MarioKart and StarFox not working anymore. (Does anyone else remember StarFox working? Granted it was way too slow to play, but I seem to recall at least being able to load it up).

SF was slow but playable using a C core at 580MHz; SF2 was SLOOOW and unplayable, but it worked IIRC.

Yes, there is stuff not playable because of the multiadapter (but you might get a message about it) and other not running anymore because of assumption made which aren't correct. If one could try the same ROM in the original Snes-emulator on Windows one could know the settings which needs to be altered. there are much more settings than the one visible in the GUI....

I can test a bunch of those on my laptop tonight when I get off work. Just to be sure, we're talking about SNES9x, right? What version should I be using to be most identical to what we're using in LJP?

I think it is Snes9x 1.52?

MarioKart, Star Fox, and Pilotwings all run fine on 1.51, which is the latest version I could find. This was all on default settings - is there anything specific I should be looking for Henk?
Civilization ran as well, but I got a bad checksum, so I'm guessing I've got a bad ROM. Are there tools to fix headers on SNES ROMS? I used to have one that worked wonders for NES ROMS but haven't seen anything like that for a long time.

I haven't been able to get any of those to work on RC7+, but only on the zodiac. I haven't even tried anywhere else, because i don't have snes working yet (i did for a while, but hard reset :-()

Ah, I remember seeing that last time I looked for this, but while I found a page about it associated with ZSNES, the actual website, nsrt.edgeemu.com, is down and has been offline for quite some time. Do you know of any other mirrors, or do you have the file yourself that you could email me? Thanks! edit: Found one, finally! It's hosted at zophar.net, of course! Man brought back memories just seeing that site again. Used to be the place for all your emulation needs. That's actually how I found out about LJP years ago. Good ol' zophar.

The NSRT site actually isn't down -- it moved, and then the domain was hijacked. You can still get to it with a bit of hosts file hackery; I believe the zsnes forums have detailed instructions on how to do that.
