I think what he meant to say is that the site hasn't hardly been updated or changed in the last 3 or 4 years, which is true. It's still maintained as an archive site, but there hasn't been anything new there since about 2005.

Dang, so I ran NSRT on a bunch of my ROMs and while they no longer display "Bad Checksum" in the Windows emulator, I still can't get them to run in LJP. I'll try and update the wiki tonight with my findings, and see if I can't get a hold of a better copy of the ROMS in question.

Are these ROMs fan translations/hacks/etc? If you could tag the wiki with a [cb] for the ones you update, I'll compare against my list and see if it's a ROM issue or a game issue. Some, like Tales of Phantasia, have to patch against a specific dump, or the game can have problems on older versions of SNES9x.

Nope, they're Japanese SF games. Never released in US. I'll try and do that for the wiki though. Good idea.

I don't see a way to choose between NTSC and PAL in LJP. Is there one?

Yup -- the choices are "default" "PAL" and "NTSC". Go to Config->Video->Videomode in the SNES section.

Bummer, still don't work. I still need to look for another copy of the ROMs...it's just harder finding Japanese roms than US or Europe ones since I don't read Japanese.

Sorry but this may seem like a newb question, but the default, Pal, and NTSC, settings you should only change these if your play games from difrent regions?

Yep. Japanese and US games are NTSC, while European games are PAL.

If the game runs at 60fps, it's probably NTSC; PAL operates at 50fps.

That's basically there for when the automatic "dafault" mode doesn't work (ie, game runs too slow(FPS locked at 50) or too fast or doesn't work) or you have some specific reason for tinkering with that. If a game works in the default setting, just don't mess with it. You don't have to set a region for each game or anything when the autodetection works
