Ok weird bug here : Can't access the "snes9xTYL" folder in PSP/GAME/ from my PC. It says access is denied :/ Dunno if I should post that here but since it says bug thread ...
Psp fw : 1.50 Snes9xTYL ver : 0.4.2me
Edit: Oh well, after a few hard-resets, the folder just came up as empty. Looks like I'll have to start FFVI all over again :/

Version 0.4.2 ME Firmware 1.5 FF4 music still sounds horrible yet for some reason is still perfect in .2c. Occurance: Always Also experiencing really weird glitches when I turn off sound such as huge delays before going into a battle in Super Mario RPG and the screen becoming all buggy and messed up looking in SMW2: Yoshi's Island Occurance: Always version: 0.4.2(me) firmware: 1.5 details: In Mega Man X2, when going through the junk yard stage, the game freezes as you head into the first tunnel (the one that changes your jumps). occurrence: always This is just your rom, I had the same problem but when I downloaded a different rom it was fixed. One final glitch: No matter how much I try, I can't set any controls to the analog stick. If I try to define the key and hit the analog stick in any direction it'll always come up as Analog up and won't work. If I try to set it manually it will also not work (I just want to make menu analog left ARGH) Occurance: Always

Version: 0.4.2 Firmware: 2.60 (eLoader 0.97) Details: Straight up doesn't work. I load it through the eLoader and it just goes to a white screen. Occurence: N/A
Oh, and for the record, I used 0.4.1 before. It worked, but the sound went in total slo-mo. Strangely, everything else went at full speed. And it all timed fine. It was like the game randomly lagged hardcore at transitions to let the music catch up.

version : 0.4me. firmware : 1.50 details : Object/background layers not interacting properly? In Super Ghouls & Ghosts, in the second part of level 4 the sprites for the character and the platform he is riding on become completely obscured behind parts of the background, making the level pretty much impossible to beat. Interestingly enough, if you attack your weapon is completely visible. I tried changing a variety of settings but nothing worked, although now that I think about it turning off one of the background layers might have fixed it. I have a save state from the end of the game from an earlier version of the emu so the bug must not have been in a previous version. The level in question makes heavy use of mode 7 effects, if that makes any difference. occurence : always.

I tried with zero frameskip, with every graphic mode, and with all the speed options in the hack/debug menu turned off. I think it might be a problem with the mode 7 emulation.

Also, the emulator sometimes brings up the menu during games at random times following input. Sometimes it happens while I'm pressing the d-pad, other times the menu comes up after I press one of the face buttons. Sometimes this occurs very frequently (like every few seconds), but then the problem usually goes away for a while. Has anybody else had this problem? (Sorry if its been mentioned, I don't feel like reading through the whole topic)

Here's the save state: www.sendspace.com/file/ylke0qThe name of the rom is Super Ghouls and Ghosts (US).zip Edit: Here's the same save state after converting to SNES9x PC format. www.sendspace.com/file/ct8ujuYou can see that in the PC version the character and platform sprites are drawn in front of the background layers, but in the PSP version one of the background layers is blocking the view.

Version: 0.4.2 Firmware: 1.5 Details: Speedhack changes don't get saved to default settings Occurence: always
I posted about this a long time ago, and I noticed that this still wasn't working properly in 0.3, and just today, I got around to installing 0.4.2, and it still isn't working. If you turn off speedhacks for a game, then save the settings as default, it will always have speedhacks on by default when you restart snes9xTYL.
It may be the entire hack/debug menu that doesn't get saved, but I've only been concerned with the speedhacks settings.
When playing FF2, the speedhacks cause graphical glitches, and they seem to hurt performance significantly too. Currently, the only way I can play FF2 is to load the ROM, set speedhacks off, then reload the ROM.
While waiting for this to get fixed, is there any workaround so I can make speedhacks never load for this game?

Version: 0.4.2 Firmware: 1.5 1) Details: In some games such as Metroid the transparency doesn't work - i.e. the ship flys away but instead of being transparent around the ship, it is just a big black square.
2)ROMs which are 4 megs in size run sluggish - e.g. Donkey Kong Country.
3) Doom is unplayable, it "runs" but at a frame rate of under 1.
4) When winning the first round in Street Fighter 2 as Ryo (I think that's his name) in round 2 the controls won't do anything - the only one which "works" is the power switch. Occurence: Always
(Sorry if these have been posted before).

Version: 0.4.2me Firmware: 1.5 Details: Emulator starts up normally and works fine for about 10 minutes and then it won't save any kind of settings like frameskip, etc. and when exited the memory stick gets corrupted. Occurence: Always I don't know if this is the kind of memory stick I'm using (MAX memory 128 MB) or a bug in the emulator or just my psp itself.
