Could be something wrong with the rom itself. I'll try repatching it or something later. Well then SO is a no go. lol Never heard of Radical Dreamers? Oh wow. Well it was a Japan only Super Famicom Sateleview story book game. It was the game Chrono Cross was based off of (basically remade from). It has a few similar characters like Serge, Lynx, Kid etc but a lot of things that were not in CC. Most of the same music too. I'd recommend trying it as its unique and fun to play. Like a choose your own adventure book. There is a patch out thats been availible for awhile now. If you can find it and get it working on the PSP, let me know.

Sorry if it seems like I'm double posting, but recently I've discovered a new issue with Chrono Trigger.
I'm running 4.01 m33-2 CFW, I've got the 1.50 kernel and I've tried messing around with various settings with minimal success. The problem is, it works but the title screen and the menu screen's music sounds very slow like its lagging. Its fine on the over world. I haven't tried battles or anything yet. Can anyone give any suggestions? It is the CT Retranslation if that makes a difference.
Also, Fire Emblem: Monsho no Nazo works great but the english text (another patch) in battle gets all distorted and garbled. It doesn't alter gameplay really, just slightly annoying to look at. Some help with this would be very much appreciated.

Hmm.. I played CT beginning to end, while a certain degree of slowdown was to be expected during the title screen (swinging pendulum) and certain battle effect (most crazy spells like.. all of Magus's) it wasn't horribly slow or unplayable... make sure you're using the ME version.. otherwise I'd have to say it might be this retranslation version you're talking about, try the original US version and see if it gives the same results?

Version: 0.4.2 ME Firmware: 5.00 m33-3 #1: Opening the emulator menu seems to crash the SPC700 in some games. One such game is Kirby's Avalanche, where it has the side effect of freezing the entire game. #2: Engine sound is too loud in F-Zero, overpowering the music and most sound effects. #3: In Super Mario Kart, the screen split has a line above it the same colour as one of the tiles at the bottom; see image: img224.imageshack.us/img224/9426/supermariokartusayi1.jpgAll are 100% reproducible.

Arghs, that´s invidious. Firmware: 5.00 M33-4 Game: Terranigma
If I set the Engine to PSP accel. + accur. soft the game works most perfekt. There are only slow downs at dialogs, world map and in the chest. Dungens and walking in citys works fine. If I set Engine to accel. + approx. soft the world maps runs at full speed. Dungens and normal working in citys is perect, too, but at dialogs and in the chest there are very big slow downs.
