I'd say drivers for an SDIO phone could be a problem. ANd you'd need a dialer and SMS and MMS program for all target platforms, etc. But it could work in theory, I think The SDIO buffer is probably fast enough to send and receive compressed voice.

Great idea Em, why don't you go patent it, hire a crew, and become multi billionaire? Because there's no money in it, which is why it hasn't been done already. Still, we can always dream....

i have a suggestion:
When I use LJP playing NES games sometimes I listen music from pocket tunes while the emulator is running, and when the song finish it doesn't change to the next, it stop, and only change to the next when i close the game (not the emulator), in think it will be cool if you make something to fix this.
And how about GBA, will you make it?? firestorm sucks and GBA i'ts a very cool console

Tinnus said he might do GBA sometime...and i think the next update will support the Backgorund music song switching (w/ the call option?)....metaview?

GBA might happen, but not as part of LJP due to personal requests. Not that it would matter much though

The emulator Tinnus will be ( ) porting's author requested for it to be not included in another framework or emulator.

The emulator Tinnus will be ( ) porting's author requested for it to be not included in another framework or emulator. Not ANY kind of connection? Not even a button in LJP to launch the GBA emulator program and a button in the GBA emulator to launch the LJP program? That way it wouldn't REALLY be in the framework, but there would b a "link" for easy switching.

NEED GBA !!!!!!! MUST HAVE GBA!!!!!! Tinnus I have a question for you, or anyone else who might know (or think they know) the answer too this, how do you think a gba advanced emulator will run, it will probly require overclock (alot?) to run on an treo or centro right?

No, if it is optimized enought (like dmitrys), it will run fine on a 144mhz clie. But i don't think that Tinnus will be writing it in ARM ASM, so it might need around 600mhz for fullspeed (IF he does it )

u have a centro right? that can be overclocked to 600, that is the native speed.

1) No one knows if dmitry indeed has a full-featured GBA emulator. He has a ARM CPU emulator for sure alright, but that's far from a complete GBA. Also no one knows how compatible it could be. 2) If stuff works (very) right it should run very well even at 300MHz and below. 3) I'm not WRITING a GBA emulator, I'm sane enough, heh

He told me that it works fine, but the roms are compilied in and that is a pain in the neck so he doesn't release it.

Well...he did manage to STOP the reset hole, port Minimo, fix Digitizer drift, unlimit dynamic memory, overclock more palms, write his own palm-compatible os, etc. Here's a quote from him:

Call him god and he still won't release it.... He won't even give out the code as it is currently or send it to a fellow developer like tinnus or metaview? u have a centro right? that can be overclocked to 600, that is the native speed. 585 to be exact, but I fear doing that sometimes for the fear of breaking my centro. It's still too precious at 50$. Call me cheap.

@coder12: I asked him, and it ended with this on his sig: "Annoying me is NOT an approved way of encouraging me to produce a piece of software"

Dmitry has a working ARM emulator, has tweaked it to run a few GBA ROMs, and has no plans to complete it (so that it's usable for a non-programmer) nor release the ARM code it's written in

(Sorry for my english) Here my suggestion: I have a Zodiac. And as everybody knows the analogic is not quite good for emulators. But I play quite well. There are some games that are more difficult than others. Thanks to the great LJP I can assign the dpad to action button in Zodiac. Is it possible that in the next version of LJP, it has an option to invert the screen? Then I could play with actions buttons to the left. Is it very difficult to do ? Please! Anyway thank you very much for LJP!

Well I thought Tinnus already implemented it years ago? Where? Is that flipping option? It doesn't work. (I don't undertand what flipping is)

I think it should work for NES. I remember doing some stuff just for NES back in RC3, but that might have been lost depending on which version of the code Metaview got, can't remember if it was the real RC3 or something older/newer.

It works! Thanks! ;D I had tried that flip option but no in NES. Super Mario for NES is playable now. (I didn't know that I could delete roms from LJP! ) A few suggestions: - Why only for NES?
- Why only in the gfx menu? In video preferences better.
- Use the function button in Zodiac to switch between emulators in LJP. This would make Zodiac with broken touchscreen usable for emulators.
Anyway thanks again.

It's implemented as badly as it is because back then I implemented some stuff just for testing in the NES module only. Never got around to properly incorporating it in other modules or polishing since I moved to LJX since then.
