Here's the current to-do list for LJP and the status for each item to keep you all informed and to avoid people posting suggestions multiple times. If you have any suggestions that are not in the list, feel free to post them in this thread. But be warned that, to keep this topic as clean as possible, any post which is not directly related to the list will be deleted. IMPORTANT: Stuff that you should NOT ask for because they are not possible/not practical:- Keyboard support (except Treo but that one is planned) Now for the list: *** TOP PRIORITY: RE-WRITING THE ENTIRE THING FROM THE GROUND UP***- For details, see the website Ready for next release (LJp 1.0 RC3)- Configuring LJP directory manually (currently it's hard-coded) - Per-game settings - Atari 2600 module -- Fixing some stuff -- Reset/difficulty buttons -- Recognizing the .a26 extension Currently in development- TG16 module - Zip/Unzip roms inside the launcher - *** module - Integration with PPSX (in analysis, not certain yet) Coming soon- "Combo" key for "Combo + X = A" key combinations (due to reduced buttons for some systems like SNES) - "Unlimited" (99) number of save states - Colecovision module - Atari 800 module (thanks mark!) - Autosave Planned- Game genie codes - Bluetooth/IR multiplayer - Installing ROMs to internal memory - Zapper support (NES) - Silkscreen control Just ideas- Screen rotate/flip

First off thanks for all the hard work Yoyofr and Tinnus. LJP is awesome.
What I would suggest is adding zapper support for the nes module. This is something I suggested before but I thought I would add it here.
Anyways, thanks again for all your time and effort.

I would add the memory leak search & destroy on the gui To makes savestates, pauses and so on the gui is a very important feature (if people asked for the battery query in gui its they open it often ) Thanks in advance

Another great idea, Tinnus, to start this topic. Thanks for your 0.9 LJ beta, works like a dream on my T3! And also thanks to the genius who started this all, the mighty Yoyo! Anyway, I see that your to do list is pretty neat, I agree that those are the most-wanted features anyone could imagine on, but I suggest to rearrange a bit the schedule, at least only for the not-currently-in-development tasks, just like the following order (not strictly): - NGP, WS and TG16 modules (yoyo) - Screen rotate/flip And the secret, is it coming soon? Can't wait! At last, I strongly wish for an external-controller device like driver, or whatsoever. It's difficult to play on a non-Zodiac Pda. Best regards, folks!

I made the list in what I thought was a logical order; stuff that is easier to implement and/or most wanted is up in the list.
Although yoyo probably could write some ASM screen rotators in no-time. ;D

One thing... On T5 the memory is : Internal memory Internal Expansion (aka card 1) External SDcard Expansion LjP currently seek for the .zem/.lem files on the "first expansion card", which on T5 is the internal expansion memory. In cas of hard reset, the internal T5 expansion memory is cleared as well as the "regular" internal memory. Not is very a trouble, but well, if the program could look for the .zem in the both expansion slot of the palms it would be great Perhaps a playstation emulator too ? ;D ok consider this as a joke

Questioning some requests about modules:
- Atari 7800/5200?
- Atari lynx?
- Neo-geo?
- Neo-geo CD (based on some dreamcast emulator like UAE4ALL or NeoDC?)?
- TG16 with cdrom system support possible?
- Colecovision?
- Intellivision?
- Odyssey 2?
Tinnus/Yoyo, please reply about all this and delete if necessary...

Hi, Merci beaucoup pour ce soft magnifique !! Hi, Thanks alot for the great piece of software you share with us I wanted to look on the forums on how to configure SNES keys properly, but I see that you are ahead of us A feature I'd like to see implemented is the rotate/flip screen, expecially for T|T3 users this might come in handy! Thanks alot again for this EMU!!

I know this is a lot to ask, but what about some GBA for LJP IN DA HOUSE! ;D

Maybe GBA would not be the real purpose of LJP (retro-gaming) as yoyo once stated... so not likely to be added. BTW some of the oldies might have a little hint about the "secret module"... if you know what it is, please don't say

Hmmmm, I was gonna say GBA too... I mean, oh well... it may be headed the way of being "retro" soon, with the DS and now the PSP by Sony... but I won't argue such technicalities... the only other possibility I can think of is Sega CD... lol, that coulnd't be too hard, right? ;D Or, there's PSone... wuahahahaa.... or N64... you get the idea....

SegaCD, Turboduo could be very nice to be supported, both has very good games. Turboduo can be a lot easier than Sega CD because it's only a CD unit and more memory...

Tinnus, do you can reply my requests? Any news about the project status? Yoyo is back into LJP development?

Yoyo never stopped LJP really, he's just too busy but hasn't abandoned it... I'm just doing some work meanwhile: - Atari 2600 - Screen grabbing (almost there) - "bottom bar" a la Gizmo Ultra and NesEm with features like Quick Save, Quick Load, etc. at the touch of a buton (I like to call this the "beltbar" after batman's utility belt ;D) About new modules, if you want something, find me an open source, portable emulator and we can talk

Find an open-source emulator with gun-via-mouse support and I (or yoyo) might find a way to do it.

nesterdc.emulation64.com/Webpage very outdated, the new version is a lot advanced... Tinnus, do you need more nes emulators for add the gun support?

I just need some emulator with gun code and hope it will be compatible with LJP. But no, I think that's enough. I'll take a look when I have the time (which means probably only next week).

I know you said you had enough links to check out but here is the one I originally suggested a while ago sourceforge.net/projects/nestopia/. It has zapper support using the mouse and is written in C++. Anyways, thanks for your contributions to LJP and good luck with everything you're working on Tinnus .
