Yes, I'm aware of it and played around with it. Wasn't too impressed as it required roms need to be converted before it can be played. The emu is still a bit early in its stage. I really prefer a single platform and really like features and feel of LJP.

Every MAME port requires roms to be converted. There are several "major" MAME versions, and the roms need to be "coded" to that specific version. In the case of PalmMAME it's 0.36 (IIRC).
I really see no point in porting MAME again...

Awesome job with LJP!
Feature request:
I've seen this lacking in other emulators, would be cool in LJP... the ability to map palm keyboard keys (like on the Treo, Tungsten C, Sony) as controller buttons.

Again? That must be the 5th time this is asked, just in this thread.
Keyboards can be used but AFAIK would make emulation VERY, VERY slow and VERY, VERY choppy. The only exception would be the Treo's since there's some API out there that's supposed to check the keys directly.

Hey Tinnus, maybe you should pin and lock a thread that tells people why keyboards are not supported in LJP right now so people stop asking about keyboard support.

biggest feature ever: stability on T5/LD

Blame PalmOne for that ;D
Seriously now, LJP has some stability problems. The bigger problem is, they usually appear more on devices with NVFS because of the way memory is managed.

I hope (and think) you have something under your cap regarding stability this is my opinion, but generally, I prefer stabilizing my software before implementing new stuff. this leads to easier debugging in the end. in fact I noticed that LJP was almost stable when not using UDMH (at least on my LD, not much tested on my GF's T5)... which makes me backing off of buying UDMH for now ^^; (LifeKeys is a true godsend and I seriously consider buying it anyway) besides that, I second the need of a (configurable) "shift key" system EDIT: holy sh*t, LJP just crashed (w/o UDMH), and now I'm on a infinite reset loop X(

EDIT: holy sh*t, LJP just crashed (w/o UDMH), and now I'm on a infinite reset loop X( Happened to me last night in the middle of a Mario game too The problem is that this kind of bug is hard to debug since it gives no error message or anything... (in my case at least) Usually the only solution is a hard reset...

Tha Yamaha chip can't be used in emulation... it's only good for MIDI playing.

First of all, many thanx for this wonderful piece of software. I'd like more stability in the VCS module. Although I don't know if the paddle games would be supported. If talking about adding new modules, I'll ask if Coleco and Atari 5200 are in consideration. I know there is a Coleco emu around there. Thanx in advance.

Yeah that's Gens compiled for WIn32. I have this one here Does it support CD? And 32X? Ok, ok, I guess I'll have to look at the sources then. Seems to have interesting 68k and Z80 cores too...

Is there anyway to turn off the Treo's keyboard light? Is there any way to adjust the screens brightness without exiting the program?

Turn off the light: there's something in TCPMP's forum about that, do a search there.
Screen brightness: I *think* you can do it from inside the in-game GUI.

Support to map a second controllers buttons yes at first this may seem extremely usesless, but think about it this way, if you could map the controlls for controller one and controller 2 the exact same(the controls for controller 1 and controller 2 would be the same buttons) then you could play 2 player games like super mario 3 on nes, where you would just switch off using your palm with another person.
sorry if i didnt explain this very well, im not even sure if this would realy work, tinnus what do you think?
