Alright, here's the first bug I've noticed. I've loaded up Tales of Phantasia twice now, and after taking one step, the controls lock up (other than going into the menu and that stuff)

The music stops, the controls stop working, and it seems to freeze other than I can still access the emulator menu and the stuff in it and hte frame rate moniter is still going

I'm on a 2.6: I've also tried tales of phantasia it does load but then i get VEEERYYY loud shrieks from the ps2 after that first sentence from the intro :/ when i load a savestate it plays. (but a looooot slower unfortunately!)
good thing tho: with sound off all games r sooo smooth n fast
Also: when I quit the emulator the emulator crashes (psp doesn't, home still responds, emulator doesn't, LRstart doesnt work)

As another update, it seems to be a problem with the savestate as loading it ingame works fine. I will save it in a savestare and see if it works.

PS: it's the me version

EDIT: Alright, it does work when I load a save state, so it must have been something from one version to another, BUT sound stopped emulating the moment I loaded the save state.

It seems it was a problem with the save state itself. Once I deleated it and made a fresh save there, everything worked. So, it seems that while there will be bugs moving from saves from one version of the emulator to the other, it works great.

EDIT: Alright, the sound is gone again. There is a problem with save states which seems to kill the sound and sometimes stop you from going onto other maps.

theres no kernel access on 2.0+ firmware so its not possible

It still runs at a much slower framerate than did .3.

Whatever you changed with the sound in the non-me version, change it back to the way it was in .3!!! With that i could get full speed in every game. On the 1.5 version it runs fine, but the non-me version is so much slower, much slower than .3 was on the same psp.

the crash issue is weird, it's working really well on my 1.5 psp, perhaps it's related to the loader and s9xTYL using something not supported....
regarding speed, could you give me more details (settings used, fps value before/after, games titles, ...)
I did a quick test and it resulted in a 7fps gain!
0.4 => 43fps, 0.4.1 => 50fps on super castlevania 4, at the beginning, before enterring the castle with default settings and frameskip 0

This is weird i think.

On my 1.5 PSP, both user mode and ME work perfectly fine, with ME faster than user, but user still acceptable.

On my 2.6 PSP(Or rather the psp of a family member), user mode runs very slowly, using the same exact settings i used on 1.5's user mode, and the exact settings i used in .3(that gave me almost perfect speeds)

My educated guess here is that eloader is choking on some call you are making.

Just played Super Turrican with me on 1.5, it has some strange problems to hold framespeed. Frames step up and down like a ball, very nervous. Speed is same as on 0.3me, but not stable. Any idea ?

First I'd like to say great progress yoyo and lax! By far my most valued PSP homebrew on the scene!

So now for the not-so-good part: I found another bug. My Final Fantasy VI Retranslation v1.0 ROM refuses to run without crashing on the ME version. If you can find the error, I'd be much obliged

EDIT: It seems that v1.1 of the retranslation won't work either. Such a huge shame ;_;

EDIT2: Well, it seems I was wrong. It was crashing, but not because of the actual ROM, but because of improper file length or filename characters. Warning to all I suppose : P

I've just started using this new version and it looks great... but I am experience some trouble.

I'm on 2.0 with eLoader097 and it hangs whenever I try to do anything in the emulator menu (L+R) the screen goes black and my psp shuts off.

When I load it with eLoader095, it works MUCH better than with eLoader097 however I was testing the USB mode and when I deactivated it, my psp froze and shut off. Also, there was a VERY loud buzzing noise that I hear randomly. Sometimes its a long buzz sometimes its a second or two. And also with this version of the eLoader, I cannot exit the emulator without the PSP freezing

wow, amazing i love you guys, the emu is fast. netplay. and beyond my imagination you actually added a feature to view FAQs for games something i requested awhile back (think im gunna cry :') ). you guys went waaay above any other homebrew for psp. from this day forth i shall rant to anyone why doesnt have this emulator on their psp. thanks alot guys, when i get a paypal account you can bet ill be donating. the wait was worth it. although i already sense a learning curve with the new gui. but sexy. i like it.
