Could someone help me with this saveslot thing on the ingame menu? If I find the ingame menu, I probably won't have any trouble ;D I don't know what you mean by 'tap the screen' All that does is activate the screen key things. Thanks.

Okay, so you're in emulation (playing a game), tap the center of the screen and the OSD will pop up. Not the corners, those are the configurable buttons. Remember however that with every tap in the OSD, dynamic memory is reduced 'til an eventual crash. So I'd advise using it as little as possible, and use the beltbar mostly.

I must be missing something still. Or another disadvantage to a low-res device. If so, is this feature in RC2? In RC2 I have the beltbar and, if so, the ingame menu. Anyway, tapping the middle of the screen doesn't do anything. No menu, no crash, no popup. Absoloutely nothing. Thanks anyway beavis.

Yah, you might be better off going back to RC2, if the beltbar is visible and the OSD pops up. The OSD works on my T|E on both rc2 and rc3, and I know how valuable those extra save slots can be...

They're just version numbers... RC3 is latest but some people find RC2 more stable.

Sure! Does being able to save configurations individually for each game sound enticing? Or if you like Atari 2600 vcs, then being able to use the "game select" and "difficulty" features is nice... Although I am a little biased, as I've had hardly any crashes with rc3 now.

That's the beauty of having separate configurations for each game: you don't have to remember. You set the general configs for each system for greatest compatibility, then fine tune each game in the individual setting. That way every game works right away, then can be tweaked the way you like it. It's saved so that when you return to that game, no matter how the general settings have been altered or any other game's settings have changed, the game is still set the way you like it!
With LJP versions before rc3, you play a game and configure it the way you like it. Then start playing another game, which may need to be configured differently. When you go back to the first one, you've got to remember what it's settings were or go through the trial and error process again...
So for anyone who wants to have to remember less settings, I'd again recommend rc3.

They're just version numbers... RC3 is latest but some people find RC2 more stable. ;P Well, that's why we're all waiting to see LJR come out. RC2 never worked on my Clie NX80V and NX73V and TG50, so I don't even know if it's stable, but I like RC3 better than 0.9T because of the per-game setting.

The OSD never worked for low-rez devices in RC2, only Hi-rez. The beltbar did work, and the only difference between the beltbar in RC2 and RC3 is you can't see it now. If you know where the buttons are supposed to be you can still press them and they do what they're supposed to.
Soon this should be a moot point as I'll be upgrading to a 700p as soon as it's released. Time to retire my trusty ol' 600.

For me RC3 is *way* more stable on my Palm TX. Hardly ever resets. You'll *NEED* UDMH AND UnCache if you want to play SNES or Genesis games on the TX. I tried all the modules except WS... all I have to say is AWSOME. NES, GB, GG are almost perfect. A2600 plays fine, but that sound... NGP is good a little slow though. Need WarpSpeed SNES is good but a little slow. Need WarpSpeed GENS wold probably be better with the ASM core which crashes immediately Overall impression... WOW! Good job! Thanks! Tony

GENS wold probably be better with the ASM core which crashes immediately Try using the ljp-gen.zem from RC2. It is compatible with RC3 launcher and ASM core will work once again.

I need help!!!
I have a Clie PEG-TJ37... trying to use the SNES emulator.
I have uncache (which I think works...), Warpspeed (I think works...) and UDMH, which I have clean up enabled and a 19260 placed on the line.
Everytime I try to start up my FF3, it keeps saying Out of Memory and then locks up, making me reset.
Any help available for me? Thanks!

The Clies don't have DBCache, so setting UDMH to show X memory won't help. You should free more internal RAM. mr.chockuls: you can't need DBCache on a Zire 72 because it doesn't have a DBCache

How do I free up RAM on my Clie? I'm such a newbie... Try moving some of your apps from your Clie to your memory card. That will free up more ram that UDMH can use.

There's also a good app called "Memory jack" . It uses space from your card as ram, and you can still use udmh. But you have to have a fast card ;D

Um not for sure how well that memory jack program will work. I spoke with dmitrygr a long time ago about that and he said that he had already looked into using memory on your expansioncard as ram but it was really too slow to implement into udmh even using top of the line sandisk cards. But that was prior to devices like TlX and TlE2 and such so it may work (for some odd reason I doubt it.) Never mind a quick look around gave me this www.brayder.com/memoryjack/faq_memoryjack.htm

*** = Xbox 360! I know you didn't think it would work on a palm, but Tinnus is magic.
Seriously. I'm dying to find out. I just hope it's not something lame.
